For the most part these are mellow except one song. I've been messing around on FL Studio for a while but never seem to finish a lot of what I start because my computer cannot handle real-time mixing with the effects going. Have to render song, listen, make changes and repeat. There's a couple songs that are pretty much complete and than a nice mellow loop from part of a song I have almost finished.

Hope you enjoy!

My own song, That Light In The Dark

Song1 (home.comcast.net/~ballard06/That_Light_In_The_Dark.mp3)

Zombie Nations Kernkraft400 re-make.

Song2 (home.comcast.net/~ballard06/kernkraft400 - (M. Ballard Remix).mp3)

A sample loop from a song I'm working on.

Song3 (home.comcast.net/~ballard06/Memoreys_In_Trance_Loop.mp3)

I don't really take it as serious as I use to anymore. I'm trying to get back in it. Some things might sound weird. I don't know how to play keyboard or know exactly how to use scales but I made what I wanted to hear. I am a drummer so that helps in some ways.:stoned:

Might as well add some more on...These are tracks I'll put time into and than randomly stop.

This ones old. Its a really mellow/trance 80s sounding music. I make a lot of weird/random things. :D

Song4 (home.comcast.net/~ballard06/harmony7.mp3)

Here's a louder trance type of song. It's very early in its stage, sort of like a mock-up. But gives an idea of what it will end up sounding like.

Song5 (home.comcast.net/~ballard06/LOUDER5.mp3)

These next two are a two different mixes of the same tracks. I have no idea where I was going with this but at the time I thought the bass sounded interesting. It's another mellow loop.

Song6 (home.comcast.net/~ballard06/still_looking4.mp3)

and

Song7 (home.comcast.net/~ballard06/still_looking_new4.mp3)

Please excuse the mixing/mastering if you're listening out of desktop speakers. I only mix using a $35 pair of Skull Candy Headphones. They are actually pretty nice for the price, at least these ones. The bigger ones that cover your ears are pretty bad. A friend had them and didn't like them.

So wearing headphones is recommend for listening to all these tracks.

Your stuff's not bad man, I like the more ambient moments of the first one a lot... I think that track might actually be stronger if you made less of a 4 on the floor type beat and maybe something more broken up and free flowing. Just a thought, but I will say I'm more on the experimental/IDM/dubstep side of the electronic spectrum so feel free to disregard

Hey thanks for the input. I agree with you on That Light In The Dark. I never actually completely finished it. I've been told by other people that they didnt care for the heavy bass parts. I still want to finish it and you might of inspired me to take it to a new direction.
