Hi Everyone,

I recently had to take a UA for an internship I got. I thought I would have up to over four weeks, but ended up only having three: so I subbed with QF 5.7.

I just got back and got it in at like 92-94 degrees, so my temp was good. I was told not to flush the toilet. It had blue water in the bowl and a red "do not tamper" sign on very top lid of the toilet. It was at labcorp, and from research I've fairly confident I should pass, I'm just not sure why they didn't want me to flush? Will the test the stuff in the bowl? I did actually urinate a little in there. I assumed it was to make sure I actually peed. Because of that I even splashed a little on the seat. Just wondering why they didn't want me to flush?

Also, they never split my sample. What does that mean? Something to do with the not flushing? Sorry I'm a noobasaurus, I just need peace of mind.

Finally, big ups to BurnToast, Killerweed, and Fakeboobs. You guys make this forum what it is.

Your temp was a little low but its within guidelines so you will have passed. Next time if the temp in the collection cup is a little on the low side, rub your thumb against your clothes for a few seconds and then hold it against the temp strip on the collection cup. When it says 98 walk out of the room.

They add blue dye to the toilet so you can't cheat by dilluting your sample with some of the water. No they don't test toilet water.
It depends on who the UA is for whether they split the sample. For most jobs a single vial is all thats needed.
Congrats on your new intern job.

Thanks Killer,

I guess I'm still curious as to why they didn't want me to flush though?
