I asked this of my lawyer a while back as I work with several growers/caregivers and we do sometimes share space. He said that it is fine but you do want some easy way to identify/prove who the plants belong to and that they are legal.

He recommended different colored pots or even tags with the patient/caregiver name on the plants, and for each grower/caregiver to keep a binder on-site with copies of their documentation proving they are legal.

thanks for the advice........must all the caregiver/growers share the same physical address or can multiple caregivers share a site to grow that is leased from a third party? and who would be 'in possession of' those plants at the grow site?..........i know the law is vague........just curious about the legal 'what if's' with this fabulous CO. law..........

Can you and 2 of your roommates grow together in one location? = Yes
Do caregivers have to grow at thier physical address? = No
Can you lease space to create a collective garden? = Yes

I would try to stay under 100 plants per location even though Obama has said that they will not be stressing people that are following state law. I would also label which plants are yours in whatever shared type of grow that you do.

If you have any more questions let me know,
