hey yall, im somewhat of a beginner and have not encountered this problem previously, but one of my plants has been flowering for a little more that a week and has just started to bud, a couple of leaves toward the top of the plant have just been damaged due to burn, would it make sense to return the plant to vegetative until these problems are corrected? or would that cause to much stress, and dramtically increase the chances of a hermie?

Thanks

Not a pro, but I've heard that you cannot force them back into veg once they've started flowering due to some sort of scent secretion that the plants release. I would suggest you try to search the site first though. Many people get pissed for repeat questions around here.

Returning the plant to vegetative growth is probably going to be a lot more stressful than continuing in flower with the burnt leaves.

Bharv2003, sorry to inform you that what you heard is wrong. You can most certainly force a cannabis plant back into vegetative growth by lengthening the number of hours of light the plant is exposed to each day. The only time this doesn't work is if the plant is a day neutral cultivar (aka autoflowering).

Yeah I would just let it finish flowering. It'll be fine.
