I saw RATM when I was younger. THat is the only major concert. I saw a lot of hardcore shows in Indianapolis and Chicago in High School. These days, it's all about the B-Side Playas (Hispanic Reggae) and Toots and the Maytalls!! I really want to see Culture play (are they still around?).

I just went to a Sparta concert on wednesday. Me and 4 other people drove 2 and a half hours to Baltimore, MD. We got to the theatre, there's a small sign on the door 'SPARTA CANCELLED'. I just point and laugh hysterically, my friend was about to cry because Sparta is his favorite band. Anything like this happen to anyone?

When At The Drive In broke up, the two formed Sparta and The Marts Volta.
Mars Volta > Sparta, I don't even like either, but my friend really did so it should have been fun

Man, I don't even know the name of the band, I wasn't even paying attention. Here in Wisconsin we got this kick ass music festival called Summerfest and me and some friends we're just smoking a few and looking for some local talent since all of the bands on the big stages sucked. And there was this band in this little grass area off to the side with some black dudes. And they we're awesome. It was the most amazing thing I've ever seen in my life. These guys really loved their craft and they knew how to make music. It was like some blues funk thing and they we're so great on their instruments. The only thing I remember was a quote from the singer, "It don't matter what stage you on, all that matters is how many mommas you got shakin' their ass"
