I have three plants of The Church (from Greenhouse Seed Co.) under about 9,000 lumens of 24 hour flourescent light (6500k). After 4 weeks of veging they will be changed to 12 and 12 under around 10,000 lumens of flourescent light (2700k). The lights are T8's and they are hanging aboe the plants as close as i can get them without touching. They are growing in 10" square pots filled with one part perlite, one part sand, and one part miracle grow potting mix. the temperature stays between 75 and 80F the humidity stays around 50% and they have plenty of space to grow out and up. Bloom Booster fertilizer will be used while flowering. How much dried do you guys estimate they will produce?

There is no way to tell. Complete guess I'll say between 10-25 grams.

btw, the site claims 700-900 grams max for this strain under the heavy yielders catagory

thats cool.. I planted 5. 4 sprouted within a couple days, the fifth grew up out of the soil and back down into it... sort of a loop, so I had to put it down. The other 4 are doing great... just under 2 weeks old. Im gonna flower 3 and save one for a mother plant.

Im gonna flower 3 and save one for a mother plant.

You may want to clone them all and flower them all before determining which is to be your mother for the strain. My last run of GHS WW gave me about 3 different phenos in one 5 pack of femenized seeds.

Would be a shame to find out that one pheno kicks anothers ass when it's too late.

Just a thought from someone who has made the mistake before.

I have 2 of these "Church" beans from GHS. I'm interested to see yours go, from the looks of it I will be about a month behind you. I'll be tuned in.

Ok... they will be 3 weeks old this Tuesday. Ive changed my plans, Im going to build 3 grow boxes out of 2"x2"s wrapped in black and white poly. The first will be for 2 mother plants with about 8,000lumens worth of CFLs... The second will be for veg. growth and will have the 4' fluoros that i am currently using (about 10,000 lumens). The third will contain the 400w HPS light that i just ordered (cant wait for it to get here!).. so yeah... Will post more pics soon...

Not yet, just distilled water... I used Miracle Grow perlite and potting soil both are nutrient enriched... so im gonna wait until they begin flowering before i add any extra...

Ok, So I just built a budget grow box... it took me all day yesterday... but im kinda proud of it... it was built with limited resources and tools all i had was a hack saw, a drill and screws, and a tape measure, and I set out to build this beauty from:

-9 2x2's (about $14)
-1 desktop fan ($3 on clearance sale)
-15 sheets of laminated poster board ($15)
-4 rolls of alluminum foil ($5)
-quite a bit of scotch tape and tacks

The 400w HPS I just got cost almost 4 times as much lol. but it was fun to build, its functional, and I like it... on another note the plants are doing well I just began fertilizing them with bloom booster yesterday... they've been in their new home for less than 24 hours... I was alarmed to find a male flower forming on one of the plants upon closer inspection i found several of these so i was forced to dispose of it... Had i not been so excited about my new grow box I would have been really pissed about getting a male out of a bag of feminised seeds... oh well...
