Hi, The Greality city council has declared MMJ can only be grown for personal use by the patient. They say a caregiver can`t grow! If a caregiver Grows, they are a dispensary and dispensaries are banned in Greeley! I hear the Ft. Collins city council has a meeting on tues. 11-17 to consider doing the same thing! This is illegal isn`t it, the law states a primary caregiver can grow for a patient.

I am pretty sure its illegal, city ordinances cannot supercede state law.

It would be like saying, slavery is ok in Greeley, no matter what the state or federal law is.

In Greeley a caregiver can`t grow any for a patient. If a caegiver grows greeley says they are a dispesary and no dispensaries allowed in greeley. Ft.collins city council is haveing a meeting tonight to consider doing the same thing as greeley.

Sure it can. Just how state law can supercede federal law (ie, medical marijuana)

Now if you were taken to court I'm sure the judge would interpret the state over the city.

Still total bullshit:mad:

Hi, this is the letter I saw at the dispensary in Garden City, I know what the law says but this is the BS Greeley is trying to pull. They are saying a care giver cannot grow for thier patients, if they do that makes the caregiver a dispesary, you can only grow for your personal use.

I see they also expect Caregivers to go buy medicine outside of Greeley, paying sales tax to the jurisdiction in which it's purchased, then deliver (sell) to the patient in Greeley, collecting sales tax at that time for Greeley. What a crock of shit.
