Hello smokers..i am running someh9 jacks i am now second month flowering without any nutrients.only Humus...organic.........

Now i check the buds...and i see that some of the bud trying to make some seeeds ...????
So they made sex ????
or the fem can make some seeds????

----no other plants onlys some autos that was males.... inside the cabinet but i remove them early before theflowering stage????
---so what ise happening are mybuds going to be all with seedS???????

plz let me know......i get very anxious with that...????will seeds make less quality and more time to complete....
....i see them very healthy and very yummy......but are they going to be fatter with hash or with seedS? thx... waiting infos.......helpplz

Your plant turned hermaphrodite. Sometimes they do this, especially if it's bag seed. Look the buds over and you'll see little male flowers mixed in with the female ones, just pick em when you see them and there won't be many more seeds from now on. Easy fix but it takes a lot of work looking everywhere to get them all.

Man, I hate to be the one to explain this...

Anyway, check your plant(s) closely for new male flowers. Exposing the plants to any light during their dark period can cause female plants to create male flowers. There are other causes as well, like stress. If there are not too many male flowers perhaps you can pick them off.

Or, perhaps your male plants released a little pollen before you discovered them(?) Probably good to wipe surfaces with a damp cloth.

Dude i went through the hery thing and didnt even know it. Harvested em and smoked em up. Got me stoned too. Just found out this year that they were hermies. Pollen from a hermy can germ a female and then ya get fem seeds! So, grow it out and try and get pollen and put it on a branch of a female and get ya some femed seeds. Also, you can get high off it, its just a mess thats all:thumbsup::rasta:

Ok.
I think I see what you are asking.
If you grind dry, seeded, buds too close to female plants, I can see there being stray pollen in the air.
Not a likely culprit, but certainly possible.
It's more likely that the pre-flowers developed seeds because the plant was past ripe.
It's also possible to miss a few male flowers. (It only takes one flower to make thousands of seeds).
And, in light of one of your previous posts;

I'd be surprised if you didn't have a banana or three.

It's also possible that you have a neighbor who grows, or wild hemp growing nearby.
Pollen carries quite a ways on windy days.

Yeah, I'd use bleach all over after the grow. Take everything out and make sure the whole room, not just the growing area, is spotless. Then again I've never had a hermie indoors so I don't know the effectiveness of bleach at sterilizing pollen, just what I've read and heard from many many people.

Bluezman, when plants go hermie, the males flowers can look different than normal. They look like small bananas, and if you didn't know what they look like, you might have not noticed them. They are sometimes called a "nanner," (which is baby-talk for banana). This is probably what happened. If your 12-12 light cycle was repeatedly interrupted, this can cause hermies/nanners.

That is why I asked for a picture, or even a drawing showing where on the plant the seeds are located. If pollen got to your plants from outside, maybe the seeds are nearest your intake vents (?) If the plants made nanners and the pollen came from them, maybe seeds are more widely distributed (?) This is all guessing, of course.

Relax. The seeds won't cause more seeds. Let them grow bigger so you can remove them out of the buds easier. Little seeds will explode when you smoke--catch your favorite shirt on fire. :eek:

Wipe everything with a damp, clean cloth. Plain water will destroy much of the pollen. Use chlorine bleach between every crop to kill mold, mildew, etc. 1 part bleach to 30 parts water is plenty strong. Maybe add a drop of dish soap to help clean / cut grease. Make sure everything dries thoroughly. :thumbsup:

Not if you clean well enough, unless it's coming in from outside.

Go ahead and finish the crop with seeds in it. It's not ideal, but it's certainly not ruined. :hippy:

With what we know now (which isn't much) I'd guess that you had a nanner, didn't see it, and he pollenated your ladies.

Are you sure there are really seeds in there? Sometimes the female flowers start to grow strange after the plant's been budding awhile. LOOK like there's a seed in inside, but nothing.

No, if you grow without nutes, you will either just yield less, or maybe starve your plant to death. Your water will probably have trace amounts of minerals and such that is basically feeding the plant.

As for something you might have around the house in terms of nutrients, I'm really not sure what you could try that wouldn't mold up.

Fish emulsion(crap) is a good source of N, just stay away from it for the last few weeks unless you want to taste it in the final product! I'm sure you know someone that has a tank, ask if they can try to strain the water next time they clean and give you the crap and uneaten food on the bottom. Generally things you add to the soil like fruit and bonemeal have to be mixed into the soil first and they give off the nutes as the bacteria breaks them down. Try doing a quick search for organic tea recipes, there's gotta be some good ones here...

Nah...You guys just don't talk "bluez." I'll throw up a primer sometime.

Bluezman, I think you are talking about making "compost"-- humus made from decaying organic matter. That works fine, but it takes months. Pot growers are usually in a hurry :smokin:, so we use bottled ferts for convenience. But organic vegetable gardeners use lots of it. Here's a link:

If you just want to be organic, there are organic-based fertilizers such as Botanicare you can use if you need something in a hurry.

Not usually. Really "hot" soil might burn seedlings. But adding soil as a "Top dressing" should be safe for an older plant.
