Warehouse growing in Oregon...good idea?

Hello, i am in the process of getting my oregon card and plan to grow in a leased warehouse. it is connected to other similar wahrehouses but since i will be keeping the number of plants under the legal limit i don't see many issues but wanted to get feedback from the board. any advice would be appreciated. thanks

As long as you have the grow area listed on your grow card you should be fine no matter what the location. And of course as long as you're within your limit. Are you planing on being a provider/grower for others? My Oregon grow card/patient card require the location of the grower.

Yes i will be the grower for myself and 2 other cards. defiantly want to keep it within the limits. i guess if the owner of the building finds out they can call the cops but as long as it is within limits there shouldn't be any problems? just wondering about worst case. thanks

Just, keep in mind that being legal wont deter thieves.

I agree with Sarah. My concern would be getting ripped off. Be careful about what other people see you bringing to the warehouse. Large bags of soil and such. I grow and my concern is getting jacked in the middle of the night by someone with a sawed off shotgun. It happens more often than you realize. I would also wonder about temps. Lots of warehouses I have worked in get hot as hell in the summer and cold in the winter. Good luck and congrats on the card.

the wearhouse is gated and only has 2 doors with double bolts and only high windows. it is in an industrial area with other legit businesses using wearhouses connected to mine. web cams will be installed as well. as long as i keep smell under control should be ok. do you recommend tents to contain smell on top of filters?

A simple can 33 carbon scrubber is all that is needed for my 8x8 room. Lots of plants, huge buds and no smell inside or outside the room. Just make sure you have a fan and filter rated for the proper cubic feet per minute.

What is the legal grow limit in OR? per card?

24 oz of dried usable medicine
24 plants total, 6 in flower and 18 in veg but under 12"

If you are growing for others, that is doubled with each patient you grow for.

thanks for all the replies. i have 4 cards and things are really going great. 25k + BTU AC unit is a must. got 16 in flower and 22 in veg. Going with 12 600w ajust a wings on dual digial ballasts. veg has 2 t5 bad boys (24 bulbs). EZ clone just got 29/30 rooted. Had a mite issue but went crazy on them and they are going. Neem oil works nice. Thanks again
