Hey guys
This is my first post on this site and im just looking for some advice on my grow. I'm looking to grow about two plants in a cupboard using fluorescent tubes for veg and cfl for flowering unless anyone has any better suggestions. Bare in mind that i am looking for a low cost descrete grow room, so HID's are outta the question but any advice would be great.
My first buy is gonna be this a twin t8 70w fluorescent battern:
Elec Twin T8 HPF Fluorescent Batten Fitting C/w 6ft 70W Tubes - QVS Electrical Supplies | Electrical Wholesaler (http://www.qvsdirect.com/Elec-Twin-T8-HPF-Fluorescent-Batten-Fitting-C-w-6ft-70W-Tubes-pr-16753.html)
Im then gonna fit it with two of these Phillips master t8 tubes in cool white which burns at 4200k and produce 6200 lumens for per 70w tube.:
Philips Master TL-D - T8 Triphosphor Tubes - Super 80 (http://www.lightonenergy.co.uk/Philips-Master-TLD-T8-p/t8-philips-tld.htm)
so thats my vegging sorted. However i've been doing some research on cfl's and flowering and cant decide what would be best for the plant- i've been thinking about grabbing 26w watt cfls warm white which burn at about 2700k and produce 1700 lumens so i'd probley need about ten. But if anyone can think of a better light source i'd be very intrested.
Thanks Alot.
Stay high. x
