Hey guys,
Just cleaning up from my last grow and am curious.
If the two materials hold no nutrients shouldn't i be able to reuse the medium as long as the salts are rinsed from it?
A speedy reply would really be appreciated as im ready to go!!
:)
Thanks

I don't see why not. From what I hear washing it is a pain but works.

yeah it is washable but honeslty i wouldnt want to risk it.u can get pockets of old nutes and saltes if u dont get it completly flushed. if money is an issue u can go to home depot.they selll the biggest fucking bags of per/verm i have ever seen.there about 10 dollers a piece and its enough to do a 50/50 mix for several hundred plants.i shit u not"these bags are huuuugeee.there on the verry top shelf.i would pick up one of each and toss the old stuff, but thats just me:)

bake it. My buddy's mum does it to all her perlite, I think its like 4 seasons old now, looks gross, but she washes it and cooks it for 30 min at like 300*F. But shes super eco-friendly.

the main reason is there is a huge amount of it in my house already mixed and to be honest its a real hassle getting it here pre mixed n such, not to mention its a bit suss me taking it out of my house..
Ill put some more thought into it :)
