Yup - it's pretty small.....like 800-900 people in the winter. So - itty-bitty-ville it will remain.
Just got my card 8/31/09 - found a ROCKIN caregiver first time out - and smokin legel in the ville.
Life is good!
Anyways - I got my card for chronic pain - as my hands, elbows, and shoulders are toast from a massive repetitive movement injury.
This pain really sucks - and I still find myself in disbelief that I may be facing a frickin lifelong disability. I don't want to believe it.....
I won't believe it.
Legally being able to smoke grass has been a life-saver for me. The steroids and pain killers:
A. Make me sick.
B. Introduce man-made chemicals to an already compromised system.
C. Contribute to the pharmaceutical companies stronghold over our medical system as well as public advertising on national media.
Here's the tough part for me - my physician of 24 years did NOT sign my certification - he has no clue I am a patient. In March of 09 I made an appointment to drive to Victor, medical records in hand, for JULY. A 4 month wait!
Not being able to share that with my doc sucks - he knows I have self-medicated over the years. The Feds have him by the short hairs though - or so he thinks. I don't think he's read the Conant Law.
Life marches forward......
Well....that's my story so far - more to come. Think I will try to turn this into a blog here - or just keep it an active thread.
Hope to hear from all you Montana potheads out there!
Oh - I CAN make friends from out of state too.....
