i have no idea whats wrong with this i just flushed it and it worsened my ppm is running at 870 ph is between 5 and 6 temp is around 73

looks like u are just reaching nute burn to me. back off a touch if ya want. The tin foil is a bad thing though, it will create hot spots.

Definitely looks like nute burn to me. As small as that plant looks I wouldn't go over 500 PPM just to be on the safe side.

is a ppm of 430 better or is it still high my plant is about a foot tall

thats to low at a ft tall u should be at 600 ppm. start with 300 ppm for the fist week of veg.add 100 ppm per week if starting from seed at the end of 2 months u will be at 800-1000 ppm wich is ideal......to me it looks like u have a magnesium deff.look at the fringe around your leaves.u could have this elemet locked out do to ph issues.
