so i've just recently joined the mm community. smoked once a day for a month and then became a wake and bake for a month.

however, i found out that i have a urine test january 5th. whats a good time to stop smoking and start detoxing?

and btw when i describe "detoxing" im speaking of working out lots, drinking a gallon of water a day, drinking cranberry juice.

so any more tips on that front either? :) haha sorry its so many questions. im really worried and i cant substitute by the way so thats not an option.

Drinking water does not "detox" you of THC. THC is fat soluble and not water soluble.
However, the THC metabolite concentration thats present in the bladder can be diluted by drinking fluids, thinning out the concentration to where the urine sample registers below the cutoff thresholds of the drug screen. This action is only temporary - once all of the water/fluids consumed had been voided out, a "dirty" donor will resume testing positive for THC. Therefore drinking fluids is only helpful on the day of test. Drinking water days before the test does no help. It may cause frequent urination, but it has no effect on the rate in which the kidneys filtering THC metabolites from the bloodstream. And as long as fat cells are being burned, THC metabolites will be released into the bloodstream, filtered by the kidneys, and end up in the bladder to be eventually urinated out.

So for 3 days before the U/A, you want to stop exercising and other fat-burning activities and go into "storage mode" - be as dormant as possible to prevent a bunch of THC metabolites from being released into the bloodstream, which will end up in your urine to be detected.

BTW, who is making you take a drug test?

wow, this is a first that i have ever read this, makes me do some thinking thats forsure, i thought youd want to keep excersising to get it out. Im a fairly light guy weighing only about 130lbs, at 6ft tall, with a high metablism, do you think i should still follow those recomndations becaause i would think that me working out heavily at the gym and sweating alot would get it out of me quite fast compared to some other people who haave a little more body fat and a slower metabolism

Yes and no.

If you have weeks or months before your scheduled U/A, then yes, you want to be exercising or engage in other fat-burning activities.

As you may know, THC is stored in fat cells. When fat cells burn, the stored THC is metabolized and released back into the bloodstream. The kidneys then filter the THC metabolites from the bloodstream and are deposited in the bladder. This is the chief reason why THC carries a longer detection period than most other types of drugs.

Exercise during that period and double-check your efforts from time to time with a THC test kit. If a person is still testing "dirty", and the scheduled U/A is 0-3 days away, then all fat-burning activities should stop to prevent a bunch of THC metabolites from being released into the bloodstream.

Sweating doesnt help much because very little THC is excreted via sweat. The rest is being excreted via the urine and bowels.

wow, this is a first that i have ever read this Actually, theres many posts throughout the forum that address this.
