Problem with the chat and java

I wasn't able to log into the chat here till I had java (so it tells me). so I downloaded it and now 4/5 of the time I just get a big flashy java logo without it connecting to the chat, approx. 1/5 of the time it actually connects :confused: . any idea why that's happening?

are you using explorer or netscape...or?

i too have probs loading at times, especially trying to connect thru the wifi service. i use explorer and it does take a while to load too...

we'll bring it to ron's attention...but try to keep it loading and be patient...like 15-20 minutes patient (no shit either)...once it loads fully the 1st time it should be faster in the future.

Make sure you have the latest Java plugin for your browser from Sun Microsystems. Then clear your cache and cookies, close ALL instances of your browser and restart it. If you're not sure how to do any of this, you'll need to post more information, such as which browser and version you are using and what OS you are running.
