Hey all, I did a search and didn't find anything so....
I am seriously considering the launch box, but am curious about maintenance issues. Not even issues, but is it easy to clean? I remember my old vapor bros. whip would get that nice golden/brown build up, so i'm sure the LB would have build up after a bit too. I don't want to buy it just to have it gunk up on me in an irreparable way. If anyone out there has hands-on experience, it'd be a great help :)

You just clean the screen with ISO on a cotton swab, and the mouthpiece/stem with a pipe cleaner. It's a pretty easy cleaning job actually.

I just purchased a Magic Flight Launch Box and I think it is great!
Cleaning it was a breeze, just go gentle on the mesh area although if it is damaged LB will replace it free of charge.
LB is the smallest on the market, noiseless, fast heating and comes with a lifetime warranty... best of all it is costs very little. Oh, and it passed Aussie customs easy enough

My wife and I love ours. Easy to clean like they said above. Just keep your batteries charged, and remember the strength of the vapor depends on how slow/fast you inhale (slower=stronger)

I just got my Magic Flight Launch Box last week, Im torn because its hefty price tag and less then dazzling performance. More often then not I spend more time shake the weed around to get closer to the light assuming that is the hottest spot in the vape? The best hit yet was when my weed became so hot it turned into a red hot bowl burning on its own not because the vape was heating it up.
I feel like I smoke weed much faster, but this is my first vape so I maybe I am not used to such small bowls.
My batteries dont seem to work past the 2nd hit, and someone else complained it tasted like we were smoking the wood not weed. Any ideas am I just expecting more then this little box can deliver?

Grind your bud very fine, almost to the consistency of salt. Hold the batter in for about 4 seconds before taking your first hit and make sure you take the battery out before you finish that hit. Sounds like you are just leaving the battery in against the contacts, and that is not the way this vape is supposed to be used.

Mine burns the weed after a 5-10 sec hold of the battery and gives me a constant pop corn taste:wtf:
A vaporizer shouldnt get hot enough to burn weed bros:mad: http://i888.photobucket.com/albums/ac84/vapemaster/IMG_1974.jpg

That's because the LB is only a part-time vape. If you want a full-time portable vape you might want to go with an iolite... or not. I suppose the LB is a step up from a regular pipe.

I've also been looking to pick up the LB. Laminated? Who do you figure has the best deal on these at this time?

I've never even heard of that. If you mean it'll go hot enough to combust, that's not unique to the LB, and a vape that'll go past combustion point doesn't deserve to be labeled as a "part time vape".

As for combusting after 5-10 seconds, you'll get little to no support for that. 5 seconds is about the time it takes to start producing vapor, and I can't count the number of times I've gone well past 10 seconds, and I've never had combustion from the LB. If you're truly having these kinds of issues you need to contact Magic Flight, since the box has an unconditional warranty.
