Hey Jcenter I used the same exact light setup that you have with almost the same dimensions - pretty sure my cab is smaller than yours.

Check out my first two grows in my signature I yield almost 2oz in that space and probably could have done better. The Bubblelicious and the Bubblelicious/Blueberry grows. After that I added HPS for my last 2 grows.

You will need to LST your plants heavily, especially the AK47 as it will be stretchy most likely . I had to do a crazy amount of LSTing on my plants even the indica dominant ones.

Good luck!

so i made my plans today for the box setup. im going to stick with the 2x2x3 box with compact high output t5 fuorescent system. ill prlly add a couple cfls in there to finish it off. tommorow after school im plannin on goin out an grabbin some 2"x2" lumber an makin a frame. also some 1/4-1/2 plywood to start my box setup.

below is the attic space im plannin on growin out of..check the pics an tell me wat u think. its a 7'longx3.5'widex5' high space. concealed in the attic space in the wall of the room. you have to crawl all the way down till it opens up.
the other pic shows this.:detective1:

Yeah man I tie down my branches to little holes that I drill in the rim of my pot all the way around the pot. Just keep tying them down over and over to keep it short. I believe most of my plants have been less than 18" tall at harvest. Opens up more light to the lower nodes thus creating an even canopy of large buds rather than just one big bud in the center and small ones all around.

LST is a must for us vertically challenged growers

nice. i was wonderin how that works with a small area of that size. im thinkin bout makin the box smallerlike a 12''x12"x24" area to get more light to the plants
