Hi I know lots of you guys are feeling the pressure. Every forum I browse has threads asking which vaporizers are the most efficient. I know there are industry people in the forums, you guys make it really obvious who you are.

My question is, how has this bad economy effected your business? Business as usual, things are a little slow or I had to go back to my old job.

Many of us consumers are feeling it too, and as such we ask lots of questions before we buy your product and we're reluctant to buy those that get hyped too much by unknown sources.

I know there are industry people in the forums, you guys make it really obvious who you are. Really? I don't see any obvious insiders posting here, as far as manufacturers or dealers. I correspond with some, but have no real inside info as far as sales. I did get confirmation from one dealer that vape sales have been less affected by the enonomy than other sectors. That's probably due to the number of young people who buy vapes. They tend to have fewer bills, no family to support, etc.

I've seen no solid vape makers go out of business in the last year. VaporWarez (the VaporCannon) closed up shop due to personal reasons. VaporCannon sales were doing very well. Several new vape makers have started up this past year in fact. The Zephyr Ion is one-a high quality Volcano type vape at a better price. It was a big hit at the recent CHAMPS show. The vape market seems quite strong, especially in view of the economy.

we're reluctant to buy those that get hyped too much by unknown sources.Where would you find 'known sources' for hype? There aren't really any vaporizer review sources other than user/owner reviews. You have to look at quite a few opinions to get a consensus. It's that way with many products. Forums are an excellent source for finding out about various products-what the differences are, which ones people like and why. Gotta put in the time and do your research if you want to be sure you're getting the right model to suit you.

They do? How?

There's another forum that is totally dedicated to vaporizers (fuckcombustion.com) and I know that there are industry people there because they clearly identify themselves as such. I don't believe that I have seen any industry people here though.
