Homemade pipe (health hazards?), read asap

I rigged up a pipe using a pen shaft, I took its 'guts' (pen innards) out and then lightly heated the end piece were you would write from and bent it straight up. I then put a piece of metal tubing approx 1 inch long on the top so it squeezed down onto the pen until it could go no further. I used a small amount of white (non-toxic) school glue to seal the bottom. I then covered it with electrical tape. I put a bolt on the end and made an aluminum foil screen. I'll post pictures shortly. My question is - are there and can there be any health hazards associated with this pipe? I don't have a pipe anymore so here I am.

IF the pen melts (its happened to me before)it could give off fumes. Apart from that it shouldnt be to bad.

If the tape or the melts ya the fumes will get to u and be NASTY!!!!!!!!! but i think you should make somtin better...get any plastic bottle and a socket. Turn the plastic bottle so its not standing up, on its side. The burn a little hole(smaller than the circumfrance(sp?) of socket, this helps if its smaller so the pipe will be air tight), while it is still warm squeeze the socket in the hole. BOW you have one...thats what i did b4 i had a bong

try this instead, made one of those the first times i smoked. make a bowl outa aluminum foil with a stem and get a pen shaft and just place it on w/e end then get some of that black tape for wires and smoke. ive heard of some hazards whenever u smoke out of aluminum but just dont smoke outa aluminum bowls for good. i advice u to get a real smoking pipe
