Hey guys, think , well fairly sure we have got a dose of these little bastards. Just bowled over 3 of my best pretty much overnight. Can anyone advise on best pestisides etc to eradicate them?? Or best methods to avoid a repeat of them?? we are growing hydro as well....

If you have any standing water in your room, get rid of it. Those little bastards thrive in stagnant, wet areas. As for treating the water, I'm not a hydro guy but I know there are some organic products like "GnatOff" that work pretty well at killing the larvae. For the mature ones, I've used those plain old sticky fly traps before with pretty good results. Hang them between the plants if you have space. Just make sure a draft doesn't knock it into any leaves.

cheers for that mr clandestine. I dont seem to have any stagnent water but i reckon that the mix in my pots ie perlite and coco peat may be the problem being wet and warm. Gonna hang the sticky fly traps up as well tonite..
Cheers for your help
