Really need an answer on Drying Temp - Limited in what I can achieve.

It's simple really, I'm going to be forced to dry my green in a temperature of around 8 degrees C. Possibly the highest it will get is 10 or 12 degrees C.

Will this have a really adverse affect on it?

Will it take longer?

What problems might I encounter?

The drying area at least has an ambient airflow and should remain dry without much humidity.

Dry your buds in a cool, dark place, with indirect airflow. Low humidity will help; I don't think cold temps will hurt anything?

I'm with Dutch on this. Cooler temperatures aren't usually a bad thing, it's the humidity that you want to watch out for. If the temps drop too low it'll probably take longer for the buds to dry and cure... how much longer I don't know, but as long as it's not to the point where the moisture in the buds is literally freezing you shouldn't have any major problems. Just keep a close eye on them like you would under normal temperatures.

Those temps 'sound' awful cold 'cause I think in fahrenheit.

In reality, 8C = 46 deg F.

12C = 54F.

Heck, I could just about grow it at 54! :D

I think this'll work great. Fallen leaves still dry up in autumn, and ice cubes evaporate at -2F. It'll dry --eventually! :thumbsup:

If it's drying too slowly for your tastes, you can try brown bags, they tend to work good for drying, but I'd just leave them hang, and keep an eye on the humidity. :jointsmile:
