I was reading some past posts in reference to what you heads in Alb are paying for the kind. 120 for 1/8!? Damn! I'm in Las Cruces, and grow my own, but there is alot of california bud that comes to town and sells pretty reasonably. For instance, trainwreck...400 an oz, norhern lights 400 oz.....actually doesnt get any more expensive than that unless you are trying to get some from some punk ass kid. If you buy frequently, you can get it for 350 oz sometimes, but always, no more than 400 oz. Hell, I came across some white widow, and bought some, just cause it was the shit! 400 an oz. Maybe you should take a trip to less cruces and pick up some bud. Mad Sativa....if you are ever around, I'll smoke you out! Just don't beat me down and leave me in the street! LOL!

Hi I'm new here but not to MJ. I've been using for years and am trying my hand at growing (it's going so so for now). I just recently started to use the net to find other like-minded people to converse with.
Just wanted to let people know I spent 275.00 on an oz of bud (don't know the name for sure but i'm guessing Skunk II. It was locally grown indoors, the grower did a decent job, nice tight buds. no seeds) I got it from my mechanic who in turn "knows" someone. (i'm new to the area and really haven't met anyone yet. My truck broke down and a conversation started... I considered myself blessed cuz' where i moved from, NOBODY talks about it! No,there is a permanent immigration and customs checkpoint between Las Cruces and Alamogordo that all traffic has to pass through.There is also one between Las Cruces and El Paso.Are you new to this area?

CBP(Customs,Border Protection) greets you at the ports of entry. The "greenies,migra,etc greet you at the checkpoints. There is one on every paved road leading away from the border. They are looking for human smugglers and ANY illegal substance. They will detain you if you are slurring your words drunk. In New Mexico the State Police can and do set up DWI checkpoints on the interstate. Alamogordo sees a lot of cocaine or did until the narcos started using submarines to transport coke,heroin,meth,etc. Back in the day highway 54 up to I 40 was a major dope route for the midwest,mainly Chicago. I never had a second thought to enter the check with my bud,until they started posting those damn dogs in the line before you even get to the BP agent. I know they use the "best" canines on the border and that the checkpoint barks might be totally useless but it isn't worth the risk. It is only going to get worse for those doing illegal drug activity now that Leyva was killed. Let me put that in perspective...what is a very common "street" name for cocaine? BLO or Beltran Leyva Organization yeah if you thought the war in Mexico was bad before get ready for events that not even the most imaginative mind in Hollywood could think of.

O.K. lets do some good here...I grew up going through those checkpoints and living in the south where the feds are everywhere and an everyday way of life. Maybe I can give someone some info that will keep them out of trouble.

The checkpoint between Las Cruces and Alamogordo is 500 yards to the west of the White Sands National Monument.

The checkpoint to the east of Las Cruces is just east of the town of Mirage. It is about 35 miles west of the Las Cruces airport, more or less.

The checkpoint north of Las Cruces is just past the rest stop 25 miles north of Las Cruces. It is a BITCH and the worst one of them all. It is 10 miles north of Radium Springs and 5 miles south of Upham, where the Spaceport is.

Then there is the farthest north checkpoint, at the lione that is 100 air miles from the Mexican border. It is just north of the Elephant Butte exit, and just south of the mitchell point exit. It is rarely open. It can be though and on busy weekends you can get searched here.

These checkpoints are all situated going AWAY from Las Cruces. Las Cruces and El Paso have been isolated by federal checkpoints for thirty years. You can go in, but you cant come out without a face to face with an officer. There are checkpoints on even the old roads, and if you are traveling the desert trails or off road you WILL be stopped and checked out.

At these FEDERAL checkpoints they can search anywhere they want with no probable cause. Inside your car, your suitcase, and even inside your wife. Dont even think about griping, take it up with the judge. I have a lot of friends in the Border patrol and they are fair guys. They are pretty good with all that technology and those dogs. They are professional and well trained for the most part. They wont rough you up, and they wont try to fuck with you. They wont do you any favors either. The federal attorney will not press charges if you are a MC patient but that probably wont keep you from getting arrested and posting bail.

Dogs - The best cure for the drug dog is another dog. I have a big black man eater that snarls at that narc dog as he liunges against his chain in the back of the truck. They get the narc dog away liek a flash when they see my dog. PROBLEM SOLVED.

Dont have a dog? Use a mason jar with a canning lid and wash it off with soap and water after you close it. Of course this does not work if you have an old roach in your ashtray. Those dogs are good. They have sniffed out seeds in the carpet. Dont underestimate them. If you are hiding pot they will find it unless it is perfectly sealed and clean.

Keep you pot on your person. They will always search everything else and then search you. ALWAYS. If they dont find anything else they probably wont search you. They can not search you with the dog. Keep the herb on your person, tell them that you are afraid of the dog and to keep it away from you if they bring it near you. Dont leave it stashed in the car or the dog WILL find it...period...unless it is in a clean, unopened mason jar.

I grew up in Las Cruces and lived there many many years. You get good at getting around those checkpoints but it is not easy! Also, posession of 8 ounces or less is peanuts in this state. But get caught with over an ounce by the Feds and it is a lot more serioous offense. If you get caught by the sheriff down there you will be facing a misdemeanor, but he is going to be an ass hole. Get cought by the feds and they are going to be professional, and you will be facing a couple of years max.

My high paid attorney claims that I may get if from anywhere I wish. There is also a loophold.....donate to a certified grower if you have a card, and the grower can donate to you. I also started a thread about exchanging clones and was blasted about that. Everyone knows everything on this web site it seems. What the hell is there to be scared of if you are legal. I got caught at the check point with 4 clones. Showed them my shit, and they let me leave to Alb with 4 clones. Exchange those with a cool grower from Alb, now I have a nice variety. I got shit to do besides han on this site all day everyday and post to every stoner that starts a thread. Sorry about that. I'm in business and business is good. Wow! This thread has moved along for awhile. Street prices......was just a post of curiousity as to how much the good herb is going for around the new mexico area. I noticed some posts have been removed, cool. To those of you with nothing ubt negative things to say...go on with your wonderful self. I'm licensed to grow, I trade clones, I help the needy, and I'm no drug dealer. Kids are kids....and I am no kid, but thanks for the complement. I'll still smoke you out if your in the las cruces area. Between me and a few other legal, adult growing friends...we have a nice variety. I've tried the smoke from some of the distributors. You can tell the difference....harsh, taste chemically. IMO, they are in it for the money and not necessarily to have the best product. I myself like a nice organic dirt grow, a nice week or so at the end with no nutes using some "acid" (the experienced know), and then a slow 30 to 45 day cure. Freaking awsome results. The cool peeps are more than welcome to hit me up for a smoke when they are in town. A 20 year grower should know a little about growing. Thats 20 years of growing and not 20 years old.

A friend......distributor got caught at the border check. The law of command states that they must contact DEA. The DEA angent they get on the phone makes the decision on what to do. So..........scenerios can changes. My last trip ended up with a half ounce of trainwreck stepped and smashed on the asphault. I have had them let me go through with clones. But back to the distributor. He got caught with a pound. DEA took it and released him. Just depends. If your legal, you got about a 50 50 chance of making it through undetected. If your caught with it and legal, they just take your investment. Just as if they come to yours house. They will take your herb, lights and materials. If you have a safe of cash they will take that too, you just won't get arrested. Again, you just lose your investment. All of this information was either experience by me, or came from a DEA agent I know. Actually, they don't care about the herb, they have bigger problems on their hands. They don't even care about the transporters of illegal shipments. They want the guy living in the big expensive house using everyone to make him rich.

Can we bring my overgrow posts over to this forum. Hell, I've probably been posting about, and growing marijuana longer that some of the folks here have been adults. I wish all the best. I wish to help all I can and anyway I can. I've donated thousands of dollars to norm, I've hung with Gypsy Nirvana in Amsterdam back in the OG days, I even developed some of my own wonderful strains throughout the years. So because I have few posts, made a comment that I guess you took in a negative way........I'm a bad person. So ya don't wanna be a friend of a fellow majijuana patient in need, thats your business. I'm not going to be your friend cause you posted about a doc that helps peeps." Again, sorry you took that the wrong way. She didn't. The hundreds of people that have read my posts about her haven't. She like the business, and now has to travel to get it all. I think all is well because of it. And yes, if you have a condition that is not underlined as a qualifying condition......that doesnt' matter, even from the words of the state. Apply.......all they can do is say no. But on occassion have said yes. By the way....how is that background check thing going? I know several card holders with clean backgrounds.....doctors, attornys, nurse practioner, 3 dentists.......on and on. Nope. Don't know who you're talking about, but it isn't me. My "friends" board is complete and ready to go. Just waiting on word from the DOH. No, you didn't offend me personally. The way you said it just wrong to me. Apology accepted and I apologize for the way I said No. I'm not here to make enemies. I just don't want things to get more fucked up than they already are. A friend......distributor got caught at the border check. The law of command states that they must contact DEA. The DEA angent they get on the phone makes the decision on what to do. So..........scenerios can changes. My last trip ended up with a half ounce of trainwreck stepped and smashed on the asphault. I have had them let me go through with clones. But back to the distributor. He got caught with a pound. DEA took it and released him. Just depends. If your legal, you got about a 50 50 chance of making it through undetected. If your caught with it and legal, they just take your investment. Just as if they come to yours house. They will take your herb, lights and materials. If you have a safe of cash they will take that too, you just won't get arrested. Again, you just lose your investment. All of this information was either experience by me, or came from a DEA agent I know. Actually, they don't care about the herb, they have bigger problems on their hands. They don't even care about the transporters of illegal shipments. They want the guy living in the big expensive house using everyone to make him rich.
