I have three small plants that are probably 4 weeks old possibly older at this point and they still are no bigger then they were when they were 1 week old. The canopy hasn't really gotten that big at all, maybe 2 inches in diameter. My friend is about 1 week ahead of me and likely with a different strain, has much different plants then I. His plants are probably 5 or 6 times bigger then mine are and his canopy is fully the size of his pots if not bigger! We were using the same lights up till this week too. My lights are about 2 inches away at most and there are 6 100 watt cfls on them. This week I will likely be purchasing a HPS light as I believe that is likely the source of the problem. How many CFL watts would one need across 3 plants?

Across three plants anywhere from 2-4 per plant will do, it really depends on ur space. the bigger the space the more light you will need. Im currently having a problem with my new babies, they seem stunted. I used a Y splitter per plant for a while, eventually had to add more.

Are you guys using the same medium? How big are the pots you have at the moment? I would recommend changing pots and mediums, somethings going on there so re correct it with a fresh start and they should take off.

You have been feeding them just water right?

My response to the third post: My plants are in 6 or 8" pots with a moisture control potting soil. The soil is new from a bag. I don't need to water them that often since this soil is really good at making sure there is always water. I do not add anything else other then light.
