HI, Im new to the forums, but I seriously need some help. Ok, so after 5 failed knee surgeries, 1 replacement, one more on the way, an 8 year long pain killer addiction ( Sober 3 years! ) and 13 kidney stones, I finally decided to start looking for alternate methods of relieving my pain. THC is a god-send for me, yet I can't find a single Doctor in South East NM that ISNT afraid to sign the application, so if anyone can help me, Im desperate to no end. I suffer daily from severe pain and its destoying my life with my 4 year old son. All I am looking for is the name of a doctor who is un-afraid to sign my paperwork. Thanks for your time.

Do a web search for Dr. Etling. She is hard to get ahold of, but once you do she is a great understanding person. As far as signing, that is what is advertises on her site. She has even helped people acquire a card that did not have a underlying condition.

Thank you very much. She must just be hell to get ahold of because Ive been trying for a month. Sent emails as well as called the NM and CA numbers. Maybe I should just wait it out a little longer than I guess. Thanks for the reply!!

Keep in mind that each NM doctor or PA is only allowed FOUR(4) medical cannabis patients in TOTAL.

What do you mean by
"Keep in mind that each NM doctor or PA is only allowed FOUR(4) medical cannabis patients in TOTAL. "
Do you mean as a caregiver?
IT doesn't make sense.
I believe they can write as many MMJ prescriptions as needed by their patients who meet eligibility.
Please explain?

It's fairly easy, and don't have to look too far.
To get a recommendation for medical cannabis, simply ask your Doctor in a frank and honest way. If that doesnā??t work you may have to drive Santa Fe or Albuquerque and put up about $150 - $200 if your insurance doesn't cover it.
Santa Fe:
MEDICAL MARIJUANA EVALUATIONS
www.medicmarijuiana.net
505-982-4371
They are booked up about two to three weeks in advance
Albuquerque:
MEDICAL MARIJUANA EVALUATIONS
Nicholas J. Nardacci, Ph. D.M.D.
Amer, Acad, Diability Evalualtions, Physicians
505-269-5244
Call to set up an appointment. They do not accept insurance.
Licensed Medical Cannabis Producers:
SFINM
http://sfinm.com/
The first and original Santa Fe Institute of Natural Medicine. Not known for their warmth and bubbly personality, SFINM is known for their parking lot delivery system and add-on fees. Now featuring a new and bizarre lottery system, so complicated I'm not sure they know how it works. Give it a shot, enroll and roll the dice. Product reports are hit and miss.
Newmexicann Natural Medicine
The NewMexiCannabis Project (http://newmexicann.org/)
Run by the very colorful Len Goodman, a Santa Fe treasure and long standing businessman. Spend five minutes with Len and you know heā??s the real deal. The first crop is due in a couple of months. Stay tuned. Known for great information. Check out their website and learn.
SWOP (Southwest Organic Producers)
SWOP - Southwest Organic Producers - Some of New Mexico's Finest medical cannabis (http://southwestorganicproducers.com/)
SWOP is founded by a State certified master gardener and itā??s board of directors consists of a large number of patient growers. SWOP practices in-home delivery and does not charge a delivery fee, on qualified purchases in the Albuquerque/Santa Fe metro area. Known for their giveaways, promotions and the fact that the delivery staff wear hospital scrubs, SWOP takes medical Cannabis very seriously, but they have good time doing it.
Two Other Mystery Producers- ?
Donā??t know, nada. Will hear when the State decides to let us all know or if they decide to step forward to be counted.
Speaking of patient information:
Rumor has it producer information letters are going out at the beginning of next week (heard that one before) to patients announcing all four of the new medical cannabis producers.
Does this mean you can pick up the phone and get your medication right now? No.
So what do you do now?
Go to the websites of the producers above and register to be in their programs.
If you donā??t register, you canā??t get medication and you canā??t complain the state is keeping you down or that the producers suck.
All of the producers are busting humps to get the medication to the people that need it. There are at least another 20 qualified producers in-waiting, several with approved proposals AND site visits.
There will not be any more producers licensed until the state sees we need more medical cannabis.
How do you do that?
Buy as much medical cannabis as you can afford from licensed producers above. They will run out fast. And when they do run out, be vocal to the State Department of Health, not the producers. Call DOH, email them, write them. Tell them you vote and you need your medication.
Sorry for the long message, but ā??Letā??s quit bitching and get growing New Mexico!

errr....I would almost GUARANTEE that all state offices will be closed in Santa Fe for at least two hours in the morning. I wouldnt be surprised if most folks stayed home anyway. It was looking pretty bad when I left and it has been snowing HARD since.
I bet they are just swamped over there. That is why I go in person. The staff is good people though and I think they are doing the best that they can. I bet they get back to you soon.

I wish I could man, but legally, its not that easy. It took me over a year to get both signatures needed, and NEITHER of them was in Lea county. Docs around here are dicks, but I heard wind of an middle eastern doc in Lovington who might be down, so my advise is to try there. Or Santa Fe or Alb. Other than that, I have seen almost every doc in lea county and I got the same " I dont wanna lose my business" kinda answer. Yet wont they dont understand is that they WONT lost thier business. Hell, if you were a doc who was open about recommending it, you could make some serious bank, just like they do in Alb and Santa Fe. CHarging people 150-200 just to get an appointment. I wish I could help you out, I really really do cause I was JUST in those same shoes, but giving up a name could get me is some shit. My advise is to put the paperwork in the face of every doc you see, and show them the law is put in place to help people like us out, not harm us with pharms and backwards ass ideology.

Well stated and true. "They don't wanna lose business, it only masks the symptoms, you'll have to still go to gang neighborhoods to get it,etc". The ideology behind their BS reasons really is back asswards.

Actually...Montana honors other states cards, and I believe a couple others. Still, if you were going to break the law, going to Colo and supporting their MJ growers would be best and safest. I dont think you would have any real problems but I certainly dont want to advocate anything illegal. Methinks it would be a good bet for clones and seeds.
Buying Mexican commercial is a sin. I would steal my partners stash before I smoked it. If anyone is ever tempted to buy schwag from murderers please take a forked stick that still has some leaves on it and insert it into your rectum at least a foot. Then twist it around really good. Better a brother in the jailhouse than a lungfull of blood weed.

Hi slyfox339 Not sure who that producer is but there is one in your county. Best advice I can give you is to start sending in your applications to all the producers it will take some time to get approved by them and if you send apps to all you are sure to have an app with the one in your county as far as strains almost all the producers have web sites that when you have your app approved they have member areas that tell you what they have .So get those applications in.
