if you were stranded on a desert island with a grow room and some plants, and you had to choose, would you rather have one 1000w hps, or a 400w hps and a 400w mh together. why?

go with the 2 400w bulbs cause they will provide more of a variety of different spectrums of light more like what the sun has for young to harvest. Keep the MH closer for 1/2 the life and then keep the HPS the closest for the last 1/2 and u will have a happy grow.

plus you now have 2 blubs that will last twice as long and the 1000w because your only using one bulb at a time so you can get more crops!!!

i agree with having a hps and MH, having just a 1000 hps will cause your plants to stretch to much between the internodes, the buds won't be as compact and you won't yeild as much.

The 2 400's. You can get a slightly larger footprint and the lighting will be more even. Plus you can do more things with 2 400's. You can set up a veg and flower area for perpetual harvest. Or you can start under one light and finish under both (less electricity usage).

well nehow i have some cuttings from my white widow plant if you want some i can send the extra ones that i have.....i have almost 500 cutting off my mother plant, deffintly a female... i will send then via the mail if you wish to pay fpr the postage.....well if ur are interested i send my cuttings via secured mail so that i make sure they get tio their destination.....if you are interesed contact me at [email protected] all i need for the cutting is the money for the shipping.....all cuttings are rooted and sent in plastic grow tubes to ensur ethat they are alive when thay are sent to you....well good luck and happy growing
