Here is the break down of that product, Its broken down twice by 2 different sites of the same product. 1 is a concentrated form and the other is the ready to go NO DILUTE form. Are you using this product.? If so can you keep it posted so we know if or if not this stuff works.? O ya neem oil is suppose to be good with mite problems and a couple other things.
Concentrated Form:
Ingredients:
Active:
Clarified Hydrophobic Extract of Neem Oil 70%
Inert: 30%
Description:
Neem oil is extracted from the leaves, seed kernels, bark, flowers and wood of the Neem tree, a native of India. Neem oil is a broad-spectrum insect poison, repellent and feeding deterrant. It stops or disrupts the insect growth pattern in many insects and sterilizes others. Recent research indicates that neem is easy on beneficials and of very low toxicity to mammals. Neem oil is a broad spectrum insecticide, miticide and effective feeding deterrent. Neem is also beneficial as a fungus control to stop the spread of fungus infection. Concentrated formula provides easy application and dilution for treatment of specific problems as necessary. Used as a soil drench, neem will help control soil stages of insect growth.
Ready to use:
Ingredients:
Active: Potassium Salts of Fatty Acids 0.75%
Sulfur 0.4%
Inert: 98.85%
Description:
Potassium salts of fatty acids are derived from plants and act as a contact insecticide to permanently paralyze insects and mites. Sulfur is a naturally occurring element that effects the body functions of insects and mites. Sulfur also affects the ability of a fungus to continue growth, making it an effective fungicide. The blend of these two natural substances provides a simple natural solution to insect, mite and fungus control. Use only on affected area as this is a broad spectrum insect killer. This product is best applied when the air temperature is less than 90 degrees as both active ingredients can burn tender foliage in higher temperatures. Safe for use around plants, animals and people. Do not use in full sun or when temperature is above 90 degrees Fahrenheit. Do not use with in 4 weeks following application of oil spray.
Effective on powdery mildew, black spot, leaf spot and rust. Kills most insects including aphids, beetles, caterpillars, crickets, earwigs, lace bugs, leafhoppers, mites, thrips, and whiteflies.

Weezard had this to say about Safer's. (The conversation was actually about outdoor tomatoes in a DWC bucket.)
I did have one of my dwc tomatoes go stankey on me.
The ropes turned black and slimy.
Got pictures, somewhere.
Lifted it out, and sprayed the roots n ropes with Safer's 3 way.
Got a decent fungicide in it, but, shake well and often, it tends to settle. And don't use it on leaf or bud.
(It tends to "burn" them and cause more damage than mites.)
Seriously, my friend killed 3 of his girls with it.
I only use it for major root slime
Gave the water surface a few sprays as well and the plant recovered.
Neem oil is fairly effective, I think because that stuff is so nasty. Ugh! Be careful when and what you spray with Neem, like buds close to harvest. Just taste it--bleagh!

a single Hot Shot No-Pest Strip, is PLENTY for your average grow room (the directions indicate how large a room it protects) ... relax, it will protect your crop  ... I sit one on the floor, so the circulating air takes it up thru the plants, and discard it, 2 weeks before harvest ... I have never had an insect situation, been using them for many years ... happy gardening

I have used safer insecticidal soap and aza-max and after using aza-max I threw it in the trash can and am now back to using safer soap again because I didn't care for all the precautions that involved using the aza-max! Safer works just fine and it's not toxic compared to the aza-max!

I don't think my mites are any different than any others but the Hot Shot doesn't seem to do anything at all - I knock them down with various concoctions but they keep coming back on the same plants - even with fresh pest strip hanging right above the plant - good air circulation, etc. Wish they did work. I am sooooo tired of the Borg.
