I have been doing some research and i now have a light specialist on the job too, he says this will do the job for my veg stage.

Can anyone confirm this is ok please before i put the order in.

Sylvania Grolux 2' T8 Fluorescent Tube 18W
"18 Watt Grolux

For lighting of fresh water aquariums

Recommended for greenhouses, indoor gardens & florists"

A fitting complete with such a tube would be £21.50 + £3.95 p+p for a

single tube fitting and £37.50 + £3.95 for a twin lamped version.

you would save money and be just as well off with CFL's. (compact fluorescent lights)

T-12 fluorescent tubes..(6500k) work great for the first 3 weeks of vegging. After that ...you need much more light for flowering...a lot more than T-8's
