Hi

I m in the process of setting up a small closet grow (5sq feet) maybe enough for 3 plants which i intend to light with a 400 watt cfl my question is if anyone knows wether i can veg the plants in this closet on 19 / 5 hr cycle and the flower outdoors which is between 12 - 14 hrs daylight all year round. thought this would be a good way of rotating my harvests but havent heard of anyone else doing the same. Any info would be great.:

actually, most outdoor growers, probably start their plants indoors, pretty common ... just introduce them to the sunlight gradually ... sit the containers in a shaded area, and take a few days to place them into full sun ... you can 'read' how your plants are handling the sun, and act accordingly ... some take right to it, some shrink away ... happy gardening

I've never heard of a plant shrinking from sunlight. If they shrink away, how do you act accordingly?
