Hello everyone. Hope everyones been keeping it green while Ive been away. I would have been on ohhh about aug 7 or 8th, but unfortunitly I had nothing to grow. Customs had and still has my beans in package from the uk since aug 8 2009. So the amazing attitude seed bank reshipped them, and i got them 4 days later. Amazing. Needless to say I had to wait 20 buisness days which is a month......I would be 3-4 weeks into flower by now damnit. Oh well. Anyways, Iv built myself a bubble cloner, cost me 36 dollers, and its PIMP. I set up my little tote to hold 16 clones and its working great, tho i dont have the cuttings ready, not for 2 weeks at least. I decided to go with a more SOg style of grow, but b.c my grow room is actually in my wall up off the ground it will by a bit difficult to get in there, but thats why im doing the cloning, since im CFLin it up, that would be the best bet. Same soil as last round, mg starter soil, mg moisture contorl and mg potting soil. I mixed in a good amount of perlite and she will be good to go up untill about 3-4 weeks before harvest no nutes. I did happen to get some free worm guano from hopedepot, lol walked in they gave me 4 free bottles, lol and im going to run a nice lst on my 4 j47 and take cuttings from them, then continue veg on 4 mothers, once the cuttings have rooted, if possible I will take another 8-16 cuttings from the 4 mothers, switch them, and put the box into flower, then the cuttings will have a 2 week root time, and i can just add them into the box, maybe not, we will see. Im still trying to get some sort of schedule going but i dont have dedicated rooms for veg and flower. Ill get some pics up of my bubble cloner tomorrow.

Sounds good EnhancedD...I've done the JACK47 and it's a pleasure to grow...Very good smoke...I'm currently growing an L.A Woman and flipped her to 12/12 yesterday...First time growin' this strain for me...

Glad to hear you got your beans...I've used them before and I have no complaints...Nice to have another option for SweetSeeds genetics which weren't always the easiest beans to get with a US address...

nice to hear u started ur flower cycle. Nows the semi climax of the grow, kinda like, stop getting taller, start showin the goods, then it stops shooting up, and the goods come. 2-3 weeks yaya.

So I just finished cutting the holes in the lid of my bubble, my right hand really hurts for the scissors i used, no drill :(. I decided that since I have 2-3 weeks before I can take cuttings for clones I went ahead and cut all the new shoots from this heart shapped bamboo I got for my wife, snipped the ends, scarified somewhat and used some root hormone and its going good. This is mostly to make sure that its going to work, which i dont know why it wouldnt.

I do have 3 questions hopefully someone with experience can answer, I want the bottom of the stem to just hover, maybe an inch or less above the water, as the roots will grow and fall, or do i want the ends submersed in the water?. Second question is, Im using a Dark Gray rubbermad tote, how important is it make the box completley lightproof? and third b.c im not using a humidity dome or nething, should I keep the light on 24/7 or keep to a 18/6.

whats up italiano, thanks for stopping in, Ill be posting pics as it goes along. Gonna be a nice 4 month project. I finally got my wife to agree for me to SOG my cubby closet, so im gonna try and get up to 32 smaller plants in there, might be able to, prolly not tho, maybe only 20. But ya, Its on and its going to be wayyy better than last time.

Im excited. Iv got my bubble cloner going full blast, ph corrected water that I brita filtered and let sit out for 24 hours. My little girls arnt old enough to be cloned yet so I decided that I would cut down some bamboo and make some cuttings, scarify, cut on 45deg angle, dip in water for a min, dip in root hormone for a min, then into the lid they went, today is day one. So Ill leave them for a bit and see what happenes.

Not only that but Ive decided to not smoke for 2 weeks inorder to pay for my new 90W UFO LED Tri Spectrum. This is going to make my grow even more stealth and even more effecient. This LED Lamp is designed for a 4x4ft space which is exactly what I have, plus I can get them really really close to the plant b.c they have vertually no heat. SO i can get rid of the homemade door I got, ditch the fans and carbon filter and put my normal cubberd door back on. I cant wait.

Anyways, not really much to show in pics, but ill go take a few of the girls tomorrow. My unknown the L.A Woman and 2 of the jack 47 have sprouted and are on their second node. I got 2 other Jack47s in peatpellets ontop a heating pad with a towel ontopthe pad. They should sprout up in a day or two.

Its 3:13 am, and I just finished purchasing that light, and my wifes not going to be too happy about that either, only b.c she had agreed to a 4 panel 225/900LED in total r/b 8:2 and it was about 40-50 cheaper, but I read online that they are not that good, Soooo I went with the UFO. Neways, Sleep time. See u all soon.

Thank you much DT. I havent decided. I dont really have an area that I could put him where I wouldnt infect the other ladies. I have 4 Fem seeds in the process and 2 regulars. 2 of the fem jack47 are germinating, the one tho isnt looking very good, seems stunted, i think i may have drowned it, and im impatient. Then theres this lille bitch. [attachment=o229239].

I planted the seed after only 2 days of germ cuz she cracked and the tip was coming out, actually both were like that, the one shot up and grew and is on its second node, this one is just sorta i dunno dying, u can see the first set of leaves are almost dieing. Not only that, the whole plant is an inch long and hasnt rooted at all. All the others have rooted. So i took her out, which was not hard at all, put her in a cup of my 24hourbritafilteredbottledwater and then dipped her in some root hormone for a min, then put her in a pot of real dirt, not the peat pellets, and made sure the stem/root part is in contact with the dirt. So hopefully it goes well. Im putting the lamp on 19.5/4.5.
I got the seeds in some papertowle thats damp, in my drower ontop of a heating pad, they get nice and warm which they like. Sooo time will tell. But I just cant friggen wait for this light, its my christmas present thehe.

ya the cloners is sweet. cost me 35 to make, my pump was expensive, the rest is simple creativity. U can go to a hedro shop and get those pucks u see on the "retail" ones, but they so big, I just used a thick sponge, and I wrapped a straw around the base an inch from the bottom tip of the plant and then wrapped the sponge around that. Its been 2 days tn and I wanna look but nothings gonna be there not yet at least.

Im curious to know if anyone can put their .02$ in on that runt. I really need to revive her as she is a fem seed. It would make sense to me, that putting th rooting hormone and minor scarification is near the same as taking a cutting but the plant is so week at this point, im not sure if iv helped her or hurt her, what do u guys think?

So. The little lady in my last post didnt make it, she dried up and those small inner leaves dried up and she just died. It really was odd why she didnt take off like the the others did, no root development really either. Hmm, i dunno, maybe ill just have to wait longer in germination.

Anyways, the bad seed is growing fucking wierd, its missing a finger of its second node. AND its not growing its main stem shoots normally, if u look, theres really no new growth, kinda looks like I topped it but I didnt. Really wierd.

The L.A Woman is looking the nicest and I fear it be a boy, from my first grow, all the plants that flourished the greatest were boys. But LA is looking nice.

The two jack 47 are looking alright, one is up to third node, other is still seedling, i have one more jack47 germinating as well.

And here is my new light, looks very nice, designed to provide the exact light nm required for photosynthesis its 8:1:1 red blue orange. Plus by adding a few low heat cfls I can get closer to that full spectrum and get that damn cardboard door off as i dont need air circulation and get this badboy cubby light proofed.

Hello everyone, today is day 15 of grow. I sorta have the plants in a progression of 7 days, where i started germinating 3, then did another, then did anohter. Im a little dissapointed with these fem seeds tho, only 3 of the 5 sprouted and I have my foul proof germ setup going on with a heat mat and total darkness, works 100 percent unless the seeds are shabby, anyways, so One just didnt make it in the dirt, it shrivaled up and died, the other just never fully germinated, could be too much water in the paper towel but for 5 days, the tail poped, and nothing. So i put it in dirt tip down, .5mm from top of dirt and nothing has yet to come, I let the soil dry out and watered sparingly. Nothing. So I have 3 Jack47 Feminized, 1 L>A woman, unsure if reg or fem and a fucked up bag seed which ill show you in a minute.

Ive done a shat load of research on these LED lights and it looks like im in for a good ride. Iv watched alot of youtube videos as well with people compairing the ufo to a 400w hps and 600hps, even comparing 1 ufo 630nm 1ufo 660nm 1 ufo 460 and 1 400 hps and the results are if not better the same. Im thinking about getting a quadband ufo as well, red, blue, orange and white. They are the 6th gen ufos. Its amazing as well. I found this little link on hightimes that explained why L.E.D lights work L.E.D. GROW LIGHTS (http://hightimes.com/microsites/led/comparison.inc.php)Really interesting stuff.

I was wondering tho of a few things maybe you guys could advize me on.
1. Superthrive. I know I only need "drop/drops of this, but can it be used during watering cycle for veg and flower, as well as being used for a bubble cloner.
2. Molasses. What kind. Iv read about a tablespoon per gallon? Is this every water, every other water, and is this during veg or flower?
3. Im curious if anyone has a suggestion on this, Im probably going to do it b.c it sounds like a good plan but ya. I want to put another timer inside the cubby for the daylight 6500k cfls that are hanging. Iv left the cubby closed for over 6 hours with only the ufo and the temps get to about 80deg with the heating mat I have under the 5 of them. so I cant have those cfls running all day long. I was thinking about having them come on for 30 mins 2-3 times a day. I think will give the plant some good full spectrum light, and a little stress and help with growth. Anyone think this is a good or bad idea. Id leave them on all day but the temps get around 85 - 90 and I cant have that lol.

As you can see the main stem shot has disapeared almost as if I have Topped it, but I havent. you will also notice this plant only is growing out of one side of the plant. New shoots out from the fan leaves are only on one side. Im really curious to see what she looks like bigger. I am going to start my lst with the next 3-4 days.

I think this may have happened from me foliar spraying the plant with worm pop fer 2-2-1 mixed with water, and then the lights being really close, sorta fryed the leaves or something, the others dont look like this, its strange, even looks a bit more yellow thand green int he new growth area.

1. you only want to use superthrive during veg. there is a reason for this, i just can't recall off the top of my head. rusty trichome posted a link. i think i've got it somewhere, i'll try to dig it up.

2.you can use any molasses, but blackstrap is the best. basically, it's the most nutritious of all the molasses. you can find it at grocery stores etc.

3. why not give it a shot. it can't hurt. make sure to post your results for others to learn from!

Enhanced, I have seen that mutant problem before. Actual this last summer from one of my bag-seeds. Around the time it got what you would call its 5-6th leaf set, which mine looked funny. It started to just have a awsome strong stank to it, then if you lst or just squeeze it you knew it was gonna be dank. Mine started to get skunkish smell to it. Then I had another one but did not grow as good or smell as good. I thought mine grew like this due to lack of light penetration threw other plant. I dont really know what caused this but they both started to flower like they was females but started getting balls fast, so watch yours as it matures. I hope you have better luck with your mutant than I did. On a better note tho they branch lovely for lstin IMHO:jointsmile: Good Luck my friend:thumbsup:

IT is growing very very fast, which make me think male, but, it sorta skipped the main stem and started to shoot off again to the left and now that has become the main stem again lol. Wierd. Thanks for the help Shake. I did get that second timer, and I put those cfls on it. I set it to go on for 30m from 6:30 to 7, then for an hour from 10-11, then for 2 hours from 2-4, then 1 hour from 7-8, then 30 mins again from 11-11:30. My Veg times are 6am-12am so I set it to sort of warm up, then give em some good time with them on. They seem to be liking it so far. Only thing tho is I might have to shorten the times, the cubby stays completly closed with no air in and out, I got the LED ufo so I could do this, and later read about adding full spectrum/cfls for better growth. The temp got to 91deg today with it closed during the 2 hour period. I am able to leave the door open a crack and the temps stay around 83-85, thats with the heating pad I have under the plants and 3 6500k cfls.

I am having a problem that maybe you or someone else can assist me with. It is really bothering me and I can only attribute it to a few things. I ordered 5 feminized Jack47 beans from attitude, and got a free LA woman and I germinated them all. The L.A woman geremed fine, got her in soil and she is doing just like my last grow, no complaints. But the Jack47 seeds are not turning out the way I thought. Now, I did water very early in the veg of these jack47 seeds, but as well with the bag and the lA woman. I have a 2-2-1 wormpoop fertilizer, i mixed in about a quarter cup into a spray bottle, this is a low strength considering the fert could be used to water directly with as per instructions. I sprayed the foilage and the soil with this mix and have watered when the cups feel light and dirt uptop feels dry. The one that has grown ok had some wierd looking growth that I attributed to water being on the leave and the lights causing damage, and the other 2, well. Maybe Im being impatient but, they are growing sooooo slow. They germinated fine, got int he soil and the next day they both popped up fine and opened up fine. Now they are just sitting like this. No new growth, just first leaflets, and really really small first newgrowth leaves. I had thought it might be due to the worm fert in the water being used to early so I flushed her. Im thinking maybe i watered these guys a bit to much and they are suffereing root rot, or i dunno, they just seem stunted. My water is ph corrected to 6.5, left out for 24 hours, they are warm being on the heating pad, I have a towel over top so they dont get hot. I even noticed that on the one that I flushed somewhat, the first leaflets, one started to, rott? die, like the tip dried up and slowly started moving towards the innards. This happened to a another seed as well which just died. maybe a week old. Are these seeds crap, or am I doing something wrong. I wash my hands before I touch. Now I dont know how impacting nictoine is on very young cannabis plants, but Iv herd its not good. I think Ive touched them a few times after Ive smoked, a cig or a blunt so I dont know. Help?. So basically what Im doing right now is I have moved them to my clone cubby, its a 24/0 on light with a 6500k cfl, I have put 2l pop bottle bottoms over top of them to act as humid domes, and Im just gonna let the dirt dry up. I figure if I over watered they should perk back up and start looking for water, but as well I may have just fucked them up with stress of some sort. I donno my friends, I dunno.

Hello all of my friends at cannabis.com how is everyone doing. I want to appoligize for leaving without word not that many probably noticed too much hehe. I decided I need to keep it chill for a while and so I did. I am still working on this logs project and am about 3 months in now. My first crop will be done within the next 3-4 weeks or so I estimate. The Trichs will tell hehehe:thumbsup:.
I had 100% success rate on females from the seeds I had, although only 2 of the 5 fem jack47 seeds survived my rath. Those 2 are looking amazing and flowering beautiful. The L.A woman was a female as well and she is my pride and joy. Sshe was Fimmed twice and the top colas are looking very nice. The Mutant bag seed is mY momma. She took off like a jet and I trained her like a pro. She has provided me 32 beautiful clones that have had 100% success rate threw my bubble cloner Mr. Bubbler and I have another 16 ready to go I just have nooooo roooom.

I have no time atm but later tonight I will post some pictures of more info and of the techniques that I have used to grow my buds. Im going to run out for a bit to get a few things done and later Ill get the pictures for all you eager to see the jump from a few days old to halfway into flower. :rastasmoke:

Pictures in the morning I promise. The lights are out and Iv had a hell of a day. Did some well needed repairs and adjustments, added a few more hang spots which u will see and Ive very tired. So hang tight. Im actually doing a LED Cfl Grow. Id love to show pure LED but with the ammount of plants I have its just not gonna happen with 1 90w UFO.

OK so here are them PIcs, I gota bunch o nice ones. I have a few concerns maybe I can get some imput on as well.

I cant remember off the top of my head but when the plant starts to grow fan leaves with only 3 leaves, or some have 4 but mainly 3 why is it doing that?
Along with that, I had this issue in my last grow, but Im finding that the leaves all over are not looking nice and vibrant green they sorta look blotchy as well they seem to curl downwards along the sides of the leaves. My temps stay around 82-84f and at night go down to just below 70%. The right side wall is the one that on the other side is outside lol. That was very hard to explain:thumbsup:. SO i went and got a mini heater, put it on a timer to go off 3 times during the night for 10 mins just to keep it warmish i guess we will see. IM nervouse about it being on so. we will see.

For the ones that will ask I am using MG time release nut soil with 1:4 perlite added. This is the same as I used in my last grow which worked fine. I water with Brita filtered water, it reduces the ph to below 5, I eaqual out with reg tap water to 5.5 and let sit 24 hours, although I have had times when Iv watered with less than 24 hours sitting to get rid of chlorine. ITs not the end of the world, but I have a feeling my buds should be bigger at this time in the grow. PICTURESSSS.

BTW Im on day 33 of flowering. Next week or two they should fatten up very very nice. The 6 soon to be 5 clones where culled in about 2 weeks after the other 3 were put into flower. I have no idea what happened but 3 of the first 7 cuttings I took started to rot or something about 1.5-2.5 inchs from base. this is what it looks like.

Yeah I have no idea what happened to those 3 plants specifically. I know that when in the bubbler either the temps or something caused the main stem to purple up, probably the heat. But ya the stem would get purple and it was really thin. So upon getting them into the flower cubby i did attempt to give some hard love to that stem to stiffen it up a few times, shakin it, i would lightly bend the stem on both sides to make it stronger, and it did work. But yeah, that girl is currently not in the cubby. She has withered away pretty much, used up all the nutes left in all her leaves and I have her on my desk here looking like shit. PIctures in the morning.

I have a feeling that my ph is messed at the moment and im getting nut lock out b.c Im having some sort of defecientcy problem and it seems to be all mobile nutes fro all the reading. ITs not bad, but im gonna flush her fast then water with 1/2 strength 10-10-10. Wait 4-5 days and go back to my superbloom ferts.

I flushed not that long ago. I have to pre mix all of my water as well 3/4 brita water 1/4 tap comes out between 5.9-6.5 ph and I dont have enough containers b.c I just used a bunch of 2l pop bottles as pots for clones. I dunno I may run a full flush. I just want her leaves to go solid green. Ill get a pic up tomorrow of what I mean. But I do very much suspect that PH is my problem. My britas ran out a while ago and I hadnt always waited 24 hours before using the water upon emergency drought days. I got lots of time before they r done. We will see.

So today I pulled out the 2 Jack47s for a nice flush and I did a full flush. I noticed that the leaves are coming back to their old greeness. This make sence as Iv gotten my brita filters and have been able to get my water at 6.5 with a mix of brita and tap. We will see in 2-3 days how they look, if need be im going to add a nice big shot of super bloom.

I will be flushing the L.A woman tomorrow. I didnt have enough water made to do all 3.

Watered the vegging clones for my next cycle of flowering.

What will happen is the 3 will be done hopefully in 3 weeks, the 5 living clones will be done in 5weeks. then the 16 go in. Im going to top 8 of the clones at 4 nodes and 8 at 3 nodes. I feel that b.c I am using a LED cfl grow I should SCROG it up the best I can.

The one clone that I predicted would die, actually died last night before the lights whent out. All the leaves went yellow and when I touched them they fell off. So I took her out and set her on my movie shelf and this morning all the leaves are the small buds drooped down and all other growth fell off as well the dirt is still moist, that area that I showed has just rotted I quess. Here is a picture.

Small Update.
So this morning all the leaves were dried up and the branches brittle So I clipped off all the small buds. I had 1g haha. So i rolled up a grape kingpin and blazed it. Tastes Chemy and alive still. Got me buzzed but deffinitly not anywhere near close to done haha. Too bad.
I flushed Ms L.A. Woman today. Everything seems to be ok. ph is abuot 5.5 of water but with nuts goes up to 6.3. Runoff water is the same so Im happy with that. I was actually feeling like I might have a nut lockout or some diffencentcy which, if u look at the pics and the leaves, there is something wrong, but the buds are fattening so nice and filling in all those branches. For my flush I did 4l of ph 5.5 and 4L of ph corrected 6.3 with MG superbloom at half. Looking very nice today I must say. I have 3 weeks left and Im thinking they are gonna get wayyyyy fat. We will see.

I alos decided that I was going to top all of my clones. There were a few that I didnt want to but decided that I would clone all the tops haha, they were about 3-4 inches that I cut leaving about 4-6 nodes. I cant wait for some fresh homegrown herbs. I really hate herbs that have passed threw so many hands that the thrics are crushed, ot it wasnted even dried long enough yet cured whatsoever. Anyways. Ill get soem pics up tomorrow.

I found one. Its on this crazy mutant bagseed clone thats growing so strange lol. I see it just this afternoon, it had opened just a tad and as far as I could tell no pollen was out, so i clipped it off. I found these clones are very fragile, I attempted to bend a few over as they were getting to tall and the main stem snapped. ITs all healed up now but I need to be more carefull esp b.c I have a few weeks to go. It would be nice to get some fem seeds tho hehe. Anyways here are some pics.

Its awesome. I got it today at 10am. Used it all day and have the technique down pat. Its instant. Take a nice 10sec pull, shake it, go again. Makes me cough like a mofo tho, thc has always gone down a bit harsh. hehe im a super cougher which is why I wanted a Vap, no more combustion, no more butane lighters, no smoke, no flame. Its a bunch smaller than I expected and I think the batterys need charging after every use, they really dont last long.
Over all, really only worth 50-60 tops but w/e I can blaze anywhere now. Heres a comparison pic.

I dont think Iv posted what Im using for lights atm. I have 1 90w LED UFO. It only puts out 3650 lumens. The UFO is a 660nm/630nm red and 460nm blue. I have 4 23watt 2700k putting out 1600lums each, 3 40w 2700k putting out 2600lums each and 2 40w 6500k putting out 2600lums each as well. Totaling 23040 Lumens over a 3*3*4. They love it.

I was sorta nervous as around this time last run the buds had been putting on weight for about a week, but I seeing them today only makes me wonder how big they can get in 2 weeks lol. Meds for all. Only thing is I wish I kept a clone of the L.A woman and the jack 47. All i got clones of is my mutant mother plant lol.

I'm running two 45 watt LED panels with two cheapo 15 watt CFL bulbs for vegetative cycle, but I'm not confident enough to bud under them. Your grow here may just convince me that higher efficiency, lower power-draw light sources (like LEDs) can pump out the buds with the best of them.

Very comparable!!!! I'm happy to see that i'm not alone with that sort of set-up!!

Thanks for the props caregiver. I am certain that with perfect environment, soil, nutes, and the right amount of these lights nice fat buds are possible but mostly we get nice tops. Sog and SCROG grows are wat is recommended for cfl.led users b.c the light just isnt strong enough to penetrate the canopy. I am very satisfied with my setup. Im currently working on clones that Ive topped to see if by eliminating all of the other branches it will focus and make nice fat nuggets on just a few branches. we will see.

Now that I think about it im not sure why I didnt look it up but she looks good. I dont think Im going to buy these Jack47 seeds again tho. Their leaves would grow all fucked up all the time I found. And if you look at some of the jack buds there leaves are all going wierd with somesort of nut looking def but only the J47s look like there doing it, not the L.A. I dunno. Seems to me shes just eating away at herslef for whatever it is im not giving her. Can anyone direct me to a source where I can get CalMeg b.c I think it may be that. I dunno, I need to invest in some FF nutes as well b.c my schultz superbloom burns the tips of ma girls even at half ste so. Anyways. its about 10:30 am this fine Monday morning, the sun is shining right in my window whish is rare for this time of year and I feel great. I just checked out Sweetseeds Seeds on the attitude Seed bank. Black Jack. They are gonna smell very nice, like the jack47 b.c of the jack herer. ! have a valid question for you DT. How many days did you flower your Jack47s. Im on day 48 of flower and all trichs are clear. Should I be looking for some amber with with strain. I cant get enough of the smell. ITs soooo intense in the morning and esp now that the buds are fatting up and filling in. Keep up the good work.
I flowered them for 64.5 days...Two weeks before harvest I stopped nutes and only gave em 1 TSP of Botanicare Sweet and 1 tsp of molasses per gallon...The final week they got nothing but 2 tsp of FinalFlush per gallon...
This is a very uniform and potent stain...I'm sure you'll be getting the color you're lookin' for in the near future...

All of my plants get Botanicare Sweet throughout the grow,veg + flower...Helps add bulk imo...I like to give em the molasses and Sweet during the first week of flush for the same reason...Sweet is optional as it's sorta pricey...I buy it by the gallon online as it's cheaper than my local hydro stores...I buy my molasses online as well...I use Organic non sulphered BlackStrap molasses...It's like a treat for the plants when I'm not giving them nutes...It smells good when it's mixed and I feel like drinkin' this shit myself sometimes,lol...

My L.A Woman was harvested at either 65 or 66 days...I'd call it 65.5...

Keep up the good work man...Nice growin'...

Hmm. Well Im still a new grower. First grow was this last year in the summer so I guess I have about 4 more years to yeild what youve been yeildin, plus get into a nice house where I can set up with Mh/Hps LIghting. I really appreciate your help with these dates for when I can expect to crop. DT do you really think that tier mothod opps for such a larger yield. I wold just think it would be hard to water the top, the roots on the outside would dryup and die buttt youd be able to have the roots go down much further down.
DT I wanna grow weed like you haha. Those buds in ur L.A woman/mkultra thred were SOOOOOOO FUCKING FATTT. I think my buds now are getting big your were like at least 5-8 times fatter and bigger. FAK. Anyways, ill get there, ull all see. hahaha.

Im going to make some sort of vent that covers over top the vents and curves down so that light cannot enter. Ill be done today, been working on her all night. Sorry this took so long, i still didnt quite finish the cab, but its about 90% done. I dropped a cfl in my bedroom and it broke. FUckin bitch to clean up and your not supposed to breathe that shit, the internet says to leave to room for 15-20 minutes then sweet up what you can then use a damp cloth for the rest.......such a bitch. I had a very long and frusterating day, havin a closet full of delicious herbs and not actually having my own bag was getting to me. Im going to fill the cab up with my clones and I think I might try and Flower them all inside her in a scrog, just gotta find a nice screen, might have to make one.

I guess the server has maintenance at 1AM where I live, It gets really anoyin as Im usually online and posting when its restarts or w.e happenes. I got all 16 girls inside and just watered them. All ready to go. I have 8 23 watt cfls 4 2700k 4 6500k putting out a total of 12800 lumens, gonna make some sort of screen for it and off we go to the races. I clipped a small leaf off one of the jacks and checked under ma scope, triches still look clear to me but Im gonna try n get a good Macro with my cam.

I just set up a bin setup with one 105w cfl bulb for my new seedlings.

I had a friend have one of his 105w cfl bulbs melt because of no circulation and he said there was smoke everywhere and opened a window asap. But since you only dropped it i bet its not that bad. (even though it contains mercury)

Ya its happened before, you just need to let it settle then clean it up, it was justa real bitch at the time as I was really busy and wasnt in the mood for takinga 20m break and cleaning up broken glass. Shit happens what can I say.

Keep that cfl close as you can get it 1 inch if u can from ur new seedlings, it will keep them small and not have long stretchy stem. :hippy:

I took a clipping, more like a whole branch from my jack47. I clipped all the leaves off and it wied up at 2.5 wet. I took .3 and busted it right up and vaporized it dry. My fingers feel fat and are not connected to my brain, meaning......I cant type. I keep having to backspace.....hmmmmm.....i feel fucked. lol.

Today was supped to be my 8weeks of flowering. I found out that this stain as well as my L.A woman flower in about 8.5 to 9 weeks leavin them with about 10-20% amber trichs. I see no amber trichs anywhere, but they doo look a bit cloudy.

This upcoming sunday is cut down day. With those 3 out, Im going to move the 16 topped clones into the flower cab for my first scrog. Iv already removed the lower growth and my cannopy is relativly even with shoots coming up, just need a screen.

I was going to leave the 16 within my new cab but since im going to be Scrogin I thought I would throw my mother in there and flower here.

Enough talk, i feel like Iv been writing for an hour.

I always dread breaking a light bulb! That sucked for sure. It will soon be forgotten in your mind once this next week is over and its CHOP time! I hate being out when there is a whole cab full but just not ready enough to chop..ugh but samples are nice. Nice work on the cab if you haven't bought a screen yet check out metal cloth it comes in sizes like 1 or 2 inch or even bigger squared screen.

ya Iv broke a few, its not the end of the world I just hate the thought that I might be dieing from mercury poisening. I will deff check out that metal cloth, iv checked around...walmart, canadian tire, i cant find anything remotly close, I dont really want to go to home depot or home hardware but i might just have to, prolly gonna have to by a whole role of it to.

I have bad news and good news. Bad news is about a month ago i found a small flower on one of the really mutant clones, i clipped it off and thought nothing of it. Welll Iv found seeds in my 5 clones that are coming along nicely. The buds are very airy looking, nothing like the jack47 or L.A. Havnet tested yet as they have 3-4 weeks left, but there are big fluffy buds.

I think Im going to cut down one of my Jacks today, today was to be my 8 week crop date, but I cant find a single amber trich and my 60x microscope isnt really helping me to distinguish if the trichs r cloudy, but it gets me baked so, well have to see how the night goes.

Cameras Battery is charging, will get some pics up hopefully tn.

Be patient...And try to distinguish the cloudy and the clear ones..

Being patient is much to hard. I didnt chop anything down yet. Im going to wait. Im not watering the 3 any more as to help pull that last of the chem taste out of the plant for food and to help the plant dry faster. They have 6 more days until they should be about 10% amber. Hopefully the leaves get nice a yellow. I plan on leaving the lights out for her all friday saturday and sunday. Iv read this this will shock the plant and help it produce much more resin. We shall see how this works, it cant harm her in 3 days right?

I thought about flushing her one more time but I dont think she really needs it, i flushed hers 2 weeks ago and have been using only water since. Anyways, on some other notes. I have the clones all nice and close in a SoG in my new cab, its running 24/7 past few days and no problems. Temps stay at 80f all the time which is good and the humidity is 24-25% which is a plus as well, the thermometer is hanging from the cord that is between both lamps which is why its that temp I think. Iv been debating with my wife if we should just flower her in the new cab or if at the end ofthe week we should put them all into my large flower room as the 3 will be finished then. Only thing is I still have the 5 flowering clones that have about 2-3 weeks left. Bad news about them clones, I found a flower a while back and it opened the smalled bit and polin got on all 5 of them, they were kinda all close together, so Iv already picked off seeds, not the end of the world, Ill have some decent Fem seeds for future grows and friends and the buds wont be that bad either.

So Big mamma is flowering in the wall cub along with the 3 near finished and the 5 clones with 2-3 weeks left. Probably going to flip the new cardboard cubby in abotu 3-4 days, need a few more branchs to reach up. Lots of decisions and lots of budsssss. Cant wait. Ill get some pics up shortly havein a problem with my battery, think its time for a new one.

i've heard the claims, no first hand knowledge however. the "bible" from cervantes says you can do it for 24 hours before harvest. either way, let us know which way you go and what the results are!

also, what type of water are you using to flush? if you are using tap, depending on what's in it, they might not yellow. keep in mind your tap will run some where in the neighborhood of 250-750ppm. so they are getting some food regardless of if you are feeding or not. it is recommended to use distilled water (or reverse osmosis water) to prevent this.

Hey there Shake, nice of you to stop in. Thanks for the comment, always apprecitated. I have cervantes grow bible and actually havnt read any in a while, lol, im too comfortable with my knowledge, what I remember from somewheres else was just that simple stresses can increase resin production. If found with the plants Iv grow so far that Bending branches and even breaking them very gently early and mid flower will help put on the crystal, Iv gone as far to proove this with my 2 Jack47s, Jack1 I did this on the main stem and on many side branches, gentle bending, gentle breaking, the other Jack 2 I did gentle bending no breaking. Jack1 has a very noticable amount of extra trichs than Jack2 that was only bent. Whats interesting here is that the plant, Jack 2 has fuller, id say larger buds than the more crystaly Jack 1. Im going to assume that the extra stress I applied on Jack1 slowed down her growth somewhat as Iv had very few small problems, they both grew pretty much exactly the same.

BTw I never enter the forum without first smoking a nice fat one, which is why I tend to write novels, sorry everyone.

My water. I use tap water. How my water works is pretty much as follows. In the early morning I will fill up about 10 2L pop bottles with 2cups of straight from the tap. I have 3 4L water jugs that I do the same but with 4 Cups of tap. Generally I will let that sit for a bit, if not until the next day where I will Brita Filter 2 cups again into each 2L bottle and another 4L into each 4L Jug.
Brita filters work great. They soften the water, lower the ph of the water and kills the chlorine. Doing this will get me 6.2-4 ph. When Im using nutes, as I cant get my hands on anything decent I use Schultz super bloom or something 10-50-10 and Ill use pure brita water 2L of it and my PH comes out being about 6.2-5.

The clones are looking very nice, I need to rearage a few, some branches are getting much bigger. Big Momma is tied down like a crazy woman in the corner of my cab literally. SHes been in there Id say a week and a little and white pistles are shooting out all over the place. SHake I agree I cant wait to see this 4 month Vegged plant flower up. Shes gonna be a beauty. Ill take some pics in a short bit and get em up, should just do it now but such a task with all they plants.

Oh and before I go. Just this morning I snipped a fresh piece of the L.A woman. I vaped maybe 5-6 puffs, started to feel the head high, then I rolled it up with a bit of my dry herbs and BOY o BOY, my brain feel tight, i can really feel any muscule movement in my head for sure. Very nice so far, another few days and a good 2 weeks of cure, this shit should be the bomb.

First off I want to say sorry no pics yet, soooooon. I promise.

I watered Big Mamma, the 5 flowering Big Mamma Clones which have about 3 weeks left. I watered all the clones in my new cab. temps are perfect and humidity is great to. I thought I might have a problem with air pressure as I have 2 small fans on the bottom pulling air in a two sides and 3 Fans at the top but its working perfect.

My 3 Flowering Girls are so close to Harvest Iv been tasting it hahaha. Buddy came over yesturday with a few blunts and we had a very very nice sesh with the L.A woman. Im smoking a blunt right now, about half way and IM BAKED. SKULL feels 5 pounds heavier but its a laughing high mixed with massive munchies. I cant wait to properly dry this and cure it.

Whats going on now is I have the L.A woman up in a random cupboard that is light proofed. She has been there since last night at 11 when lights out. She will sit there in the dark until tonight at 11pm when I will Harvest her sweet sexy ass. I read about this technique in Cervantes Grow Bible. He says by doing this for 24 hours will cause the plant to pump out extra resin. I also have read about this on seed bank site for white widow and white rhino strains, theyve suggested a week or more of 24 hours dark. We will see tn how she turns out. Again tonight what I will do at 11 when I remove the L.A I will replace her with the smaller more resinous of the jacks till tomorrow night at 11 and repeat with the last. Im excited guys, ill go take some pics at 11 when the lights turn on.

Oh I also found this odd link due to a post I read on the furoms. ITs interesting to say the least and if actually true is very sad. Smoke a blunt and take a few to check it out.

So I let Miss L.A woman Sit in a dark room for 24 hours and harvested her late the night before last, thursday night. At that time I had added one of the Jack47s and I actually Pulled her earlyer last night around 8-9pm. Upon completion which in total probably took me about 7-10 hours for all 3 plants. I got cought up smoking during harvest and watching a movie, took a break. I would scrap my snipps after every branch for resin cuz they would get too sticky and I made a nice ball which Ive just smoked and I am rippeddd.:D Im very impressed and I believe I havested at the perfect time for the kind of high I want. I took a nap friday night at 11 until 2am saturday morning and decided that I wanted to crop the other Jack47. I want this all to dry around the same time and get cured at the same time.

I have 5 Clones which I will harvest in 3 weeks. 16 clones are going into flower on sunday. Big Momma is so happy in here. She had been un a small ass cupboard where her branches had hit the roof weeks prior. Poor girl. But shes loving it. Next Post is Harvest Pics.

So its all dried up and in jars curing. Im saddened to say I did not get what I thought I would. I made just a bit more than 3 oz. I noticed that the buds on the Jack47 whos stem I did not break were much larger than the ones on the other jack and L.A that I stressed. EIther way, its great herb. Tastes good, I been smoking her Sat night. Every day it smells better.

Last night I made real Canna BUtter. It was fun. This morning as Im writing this my brownies are a bakin, just like I will be once they are finished. Baking that is.

Originally as this is my first attempt at this, I had put most of it in a taller container and it got cold to fast and the inside did not seperate properly so i warmed it up and put it into 3 smaller containers. WOrked much better. This is after got the majority of the butter this morning I wamed up all the water again and got the extra butter that wasnt formed right.
