Rock wool is naturally base, Hydrotron is acid and coco is just right...
So you adjust Rock Wool down accordingly...
Whatkind of water are you using? Tap, RO ?

Everything is different even two standing side by side. One may stay perfect and one you may have to chase the PH daily untill it levels out. That's why we have PH meters and check many times a day. Also get some proper PH down and up. Could be the reason why there. I would use battery acid instead of lime. Yes sulfuric acid is what the big comercial growers use for PH down. Very strong.

And so he did....
I should probably refrain from answering when I am so heavilly medicated, but that's most of the time at my present stage of my treatments. As the side effects decrease and I am able to slack off a bit on my meds I'll be rational again. ;)

Your tap water probably has a high buffer. Mine rises up slowly over the course of a day. After 3-4 days it evens out and stays put. If yours is shooting up constantly and doesn't even out after a few days, you might need to think about RO water or something.

I am sorry but did you use lime in a hydro unit or am I to stoned to comprehend your post. I thought lime was only for soil. did you pre soak your rookwool in ph adjusted water over night?:stoned:

You should always be adjusting down in a DWC. Rising ph is a
by product of feeding.Rockwool can be tricky to maintain in a DWC
youre better off with Hydroton.Iuse rockwool pretreated down
but it never stays down .Eventually my rockwool steadies out and
a slight adjustment a couple three times a dayis all thats needed.
Good luck ! DWC is very easy after you get it .:hippy:

yeah DWC is pretty eazy. my 2 gallon DWC hold 6 flower and is using up the water pretty fast . what should i do ??? i got a hanna TDS1 meter for reading ppm from 0-999 but i dont understand how to read it LOL. so noob of me. the ph is like at 7 + after a day in there. that bad huh? what i do when water is low i just mix up a gallon of nutrients and toss it in there with the plant still in there and it drop the pH to like 6 sumthing. im i doing it the right way or naw ? seem like im wasting alot of nutrients everytime i toss out the rest of the water.

I usually top off with adjusted H20 in the morn and just add some mad farmer or ph down
as needed.I dont add nute to every topoff, helps keep the ppm in line
Keep the ph below 6 but over 5.5 and you will need to adjust if the plant is
feeding, your ph will rise,I worry when my ph does not go up.Its a good idea to change your solution weekly so you know its always getting fed,as your solution will weaken rapidly mine are in 2 1/2 gal pots so this is easy:hippy:

Id say at this stage if your not flowering yet,it could be anthing at this point from a stem to a nut .I doubt its a nut, prolly a new stem ,youll know soon enough if its male. The balls are like this[attachment=o229053]
