propogation- how long?

Hi all a question about propogation. How long does it take for the plant to break the surface after germinating? i germinated em using the paper towel method but its been 48 hrs and no sign of em yet.

Im resisting the temptation to open up one of the cubes and see what the fuckers up to. iv kept the cubes wettish but not saturated and a fluro over them, this sound ok?:wtf:

Sometimes it takes time depending on how hard the shell is. I would just keep them moist and let them go.
