Hey Guys,

Its been a couple of years since I've tried growing and I'm being smart about this time (got a medical card).

Anyway, the strain I'm growing is disel ryder. So far I've sprouted and planted, two are poking through the soil within 8 hours :). I'm currently growing under CFLs.

My questions:

Since disel ryder is auto flowering, what is the optimal amount of light? (18/6 till harvest?)

I plan on going Fox Farms Ocean soil all the way way through. What nutrients should I add and when and how much (any personal stories with the low ryder family on this would be greatly appreciated)

I'm really interested in using LEDs. I dont know a whole lot about them and I know there are probably alot of scams on the internet. If someone can give me a great link on them i would appreciate it (i tried reading the LED article that Sticky tagged but a lot of it is unnecessary info from over two years ago, I want updated info). Also, I know a few EEs. Is there any way that I could by the right kelvin based LEDs and have my friends build it? if this is the case let me know where I can get these LEDs. Also, if anyone could give me the companies that make great premade LED systems, that would be great.

Also, any advice would be greatly appreciated.

Thanks,
Reverse G.B.

the more light the better as the plants will flower regardless of dark period.

So 24/0 ? That won't stress the plants too much?

20/4 is best IMO but if you read the seed companies info on it, it should include what is best for optimal growing
