Grow stores in Washington

Hi, I'm doing a business analysis of the number of grow stores in the state of Washington. There seems to be a lot of growers. Is there a demand for grow stores? How do most of you get your equipment; on-line or at a store? Would you like to see more grow stores in Washington?

I always like to see more options for everything. Competition is always good for the consumer. Most of the hydro stores tend to have a pretty high markup and they won't talk to licensed MMJ growers about growing. My local hydro store will call the cops and has if you mention MMJ.

yea theyre very strict. my local growing store wont let me in anymore because one of them overheard me talking about hash when i was buying a bag of fox farms soil.. They know just as much as everyone else that 90% of there sales come from pot growers, but just act like your growing tomatoes with that 1000 watt hps you just bought.

Yeah I won't buy from my local hydro shop any more. Its like they just want to shit on there clientele.

yeah the local shops are horrible.. they seem to think that they dont have to have customer service anymore.. Im tired of giving them money and getting shit on.. Im going to call them out to.. They have 3 locations kent, tacoma, one other. Horrible just horrible

I never suggested stopping informing people about the "state" violating our rights snoop, I was just suggesting for you to stop bending yourself over and move on with a website you can get your products at... the state cannot tell the grow stores to stop selling those products you are griping about, ONLY the FEDS can, until the product company litigates it in court or comes to an understanding in commerce with the FEDS.

These are all legitimate products and used for other reasons than for growing MMJ. SO there is no reason these hydroponics stores can't carry them. But as we have seen numerous times a lot of these people are just in the business to make as much money as they can and really don't care about the movement. If they don't care about us then we should spend our hard earned money elsewhere.

I use 509 Grow in Spokane. The prices are a little high, but if I need something right away they usually have it. Other then that it's all about the internet.:thumbsup:

I go to the garden gnome in olympia, great selection of nutrients lights, hydro equipment, lots of good stuff, and the staff is really helpful.

I buy very little locally any more. Soil, thats about it. Most everything else comes off of ebay because its so much cheaper.

If I had the funds and ambition, I would set up a store to handle MJ patients only.
Show your proof at the door and come on in and discuss what ever you want about our beloved plant. Heck, I may even take trades, meds for equiptment. What an idea eh? The barter system.

The first person to follow this business model will make a killing in a state where there are hundreds of new patients every week day.

i have done business with waterworks in tacoma since terry and his wife opened the shop 2 summers ago, at first my experience was really good, after awhile terry's demeaner changed, we were friends, we even had talks of opening a waterworks #2 to be ran by me and my wife. He wouldn't warranty stuff, found out from factory reps ie hanna instrument about him lying to customers, he even lied to me about a side job for a friend, sent more then 12+ people to him for complete grow room set-ups were talking 12k-20k purchases in cash, never even once did he show graditude in anyway, his prices have gone up he only carrys hydrofarm equipment, AN, and pushes Houseand Garden nutrient lines on people, terry was a asshole to my wife recently when i sent her in for nutrients when i was sick, hell the shop has gone to shit he no trys to hustle crappy art work which just clutter up the store, he doesnt have the knowledge he portrays to people that he knows, but what do i know my shit has been smoked by AN chemist and was claimed to be the bomb...... to bad it was grown with fox farm and bloombastic lol
