My name is Jake, I live in Oregon.
I started browsing this site a month or so ago when I started my own plants. I have since aborted my little grow for complicated reasons but I really like looking around and listening the the experienced people here. I may try to do an outdoor grow next season or possibly work toward my MM card. Its tough being too poor to get 6 months of doctor care to meet the requirements. :(
I have terrible IBS and asthma and prefer to ingest my THC but I do vaporize in a pinch.
I wouldn't even try to grow except I am so poor I really can't afford the black market price of the simple medicine from the earth.
It makes me sick to imagine a government that is so greedy that it will ignore all reason and logic just for the benefit that more incarcerations mean to government growth and contractor investment. The corruption that started prohibition has been exposed but persistent puritanical notions have been ingrained so deeply that I doubt full legalization will ever happen.
Thank God for understanding neighbors and friends who share in their good luck.
Anyhow, I think I might be spending some time here and hopefully preparing for when the time is right for my grow. I hope I don't get too preachy or know it all...I do that sometimes.
I hope we can be friends.
