No Voodoo Juice

Hey guys,

Using everything else that the nutrient calender on AN's website says except Voodoo Juice. Do I need it? Is there anything else cheap I should use for now? Maybe homemade stuff?

You don't NEED it. The basic nutrients and a cal mag product is all you need.

I would try the add ons slowly and really see how much good or bad they do for me.

The only thing is that I need my root systems to develop pretty fast right now to take full advantage of my nft system. Anybody know of any tricks to get heavy root growth?

Also, I have water that has a naturally low ppm (around 25-30 ppm), do I still need the cal-mag stuff?

Voodoo juice is one of the best product, go on there site they have a advancepedia on there nutrient describing every little detail about it you could read it up and trust me after you do you gonna want to use it.

If it's soo good then do a grow log with a control group to show us how great it is. You can go to any manufactures site and they up their product to make you think you need it. So many on here raving about it I think I must need it bad. 100% money back means what ? Can't wait to see it working.

Yes with the ppm's so low you need calmag plus. Bring your water up to 250 ppm's then add nutes.

Look at the lable on cal mag plus....2-0-0.Do you REALLY want to use that product on FLOWERING plants???Not me I dont want any nitrogen to mess with things this time of year.You can do the same thing without adding nitrogen in the mix!!

Ya I am still vegging...so I start with the CalMag to bring it up to 250 ppm then add the rest of the nutes that AN recommends?

How do I know that I won't overdo it if I just add what the AN Calender says?

Do you guys add the nutes a little at a time, premix them or what so that you don't overdo anything?

Do you have a tds/ec meter ?
If so that would be your answer.

If not and your water ppm's are that low, start with 5ml or one tablespoon per gallon of calmag. That will bring you up well over 100 ppm's without over doing it.

Mix your nutes by the bottle as they say. Or go about half and build up to see if you get leaf tip burn. If so back off just alittle. Strains are dif and may not take it.

By all means use the voodoo juice if you have the money. No one said don't just that you don't need it. We would like to know and see a few pic of what it can do.

I do have a Hanna TDS/EC meter. As soon as I can afford the voodoo juice and cal mag I will buy and let you guys know how it goes.

So if I'm hearing you right though, start off with half and slowly work my way up right? After awhile, I should be right where the AN calender says though right?

second of all when i go to other sites to check out there nutrient and read about there product they only have like 3 fucking paragraph or less describing B.S hahahaha

Sorry bharv2003 this stuff doesn't belong here.
You can start at half or with the meter satrt close to what they say. Just check the ppm's and see how high they are. Watch the plants for tip burn. You should be good. No mater what nutes your using you can max them out using your meter and watching for tip burn. when you learn your strain it's easy. If the burn comes on fast change half your rez with fresh water.
