Once the roots are well developed and dip down into the nutrient solution do I still need to run the water pump and spray them, or can they pull up nutrients all by themselves?

(short term) worked on most, one got dry section on root about two inches from the base down, rest were fine.

This method has been working well, I appreciate all the info on here I have used to get my indoor vegetable garden going. Different plants, same idea.

I'm no hydro expert but I'm pretty sure you gotta keep spraying them. Is there an air stone in the water that the roots are sitting in? I may be confused about the question. If things are goin well then I'm sure you got it!

What GanjaRobPDX said.. you're using a NFT interval timer, right? You may want to look up the stuff done by StinkBuddies, a fairly simple way of doing Aero/NFT and would provide plenty of good info. His system also made High Times about 3 years ago now.
Peace,
