Question about Registering

I have an appointment on Weds morning to get my medical card. I just had a plate and 8 screws put in my shoulder in April, so I am pretty sure i should get my card. My question is, if i am registered on Wednsday, will i be able to have a temporary permit, so I can go to dispenseries that day. Or do i have to wait a month for the card to come in the mail. The place I am going to is a new place in Silverthorne.

Also, if i go to the hospital to get my medical records for my surgery, will they give them to me on the spot. I am worried that they may try to make me wait for my records, or sent them in the mail. I have some x-rays at my house of the plate in my shoulder, but i dont have the official medical records.

Yes you will get a doctors recommendation as soon as you leave the appointment. As soon as you have this you are legal and are protected by all the laws afforded by Admendment 20. Your card will come in the mail in about 4 to 5 weeks so just use the docs recommendation until it gets to you.

Got the docs signature today. Once i showed him the xray of the plate and screws in my shoulder, it was pretty simple after that. I had my papers and went to the dispensary down the street, but their medecine was pretty low quality. I hope most dispeseries accept the papers.
