well soo far the outdoor has treated me well and its time to move it back indoors..

i like doing these logs because it helps me keep track of my plants.. like when i put them into flower and when they should be done... since im a stoner i could never remember when i flips the lights unless in write it down... also i get really good tips and info from all the peeps at this forum ..


heres what i got going



lighting = 1000 watt hps with a aircooled hood and a 600 cfm fan exhausting into the attic. and a 185 cfm intake fan

temps = 65 when lights are off and 77 when lights are on

rh = between 40 and 55

medium = soil

nutes = flora nova for the black pots and sensi bloom a and b for the white pots + some sweet

strain = purple urkle

the black pots and the big girl are about 22 days into flower and are doing very well.

the white pots where put in last night...


black pots received no veg time and the white ones got about 2 weeks

I used a urkle mom and a whitewidow dad to produce some purplewidow beans.... very healthy plants :thumbsup: got a 1/2 pound off my last indoor plant.

I had issuses with PM (powdery mildew) when I grew some Urkle and GDP the WW is mold resistant hence the incorporation of the strains:hippy:

You can make some like I did...you have a urkel mom already... get some WW seeds and breed a male..... collect the pollen.... add alittle veg oil to it and spread it with a paint brush to a couple of urkel buds mabey 3 weeks into flower....the white pistols/hairs will fall off of pollinated buds

i want to its just sketch in the us i dont really feel comfortable ordering seeds... if you know what i mean... but if someone has some feedback on seeds shipped to the us let me know becuz ive always been interested in ordering some...

my urkles all depend on phenotype .. these ones are the skunk pheno with nice bud to leaf ratio and it take about 50 - 60 days.. the pheno is a real purple pheno with alot leafier buds.. takes 60 -70 days..

i feel that its not so much temps or genetics i feel that when i cut the nitrogen a little they really change colors.. the temps do help tho... ive kinda been lacking in the nitrogen on these plants to see what happens..

THanks bickey.....ive been an admirer of your work as well for some time! personally, i hate purchasing seeds, which i will never do EVER again....but i think you should check out seed boutique...personally ive only used Dr. Chronic in the past but ive heard some bad things about him of late....ive never had a problem with the good ol doc though! 100% everytime!

well i just got back from vegas today .. didnt do so well on the tables :( but o well i had fun.. everything is looking good... i watered the ones in the white pots on sunday and today is wednesday and their soil is still moist when i stick my finger in it :wtf: for some reason this is has me worried a bit .. the black pots get watered every other day and they are dry before each watering ...

anyone ever have to wait this long between waterings??????

also the big girl is always a little bit droopy .... and i think she might be a little root bound because when i stuck my finger into her soil :wtf::wtf: i pulled some roots out that were seriously less then a 1/4 inch deep along the side of the bucket she sits in ?????

I am just getting back from the mountians and love to see your progress. I am looking into supplimenting my grow with a nice purple strain. You seem to be doing great with these.

Can you tell me what temps and humidity you are keeping and need to keep to get these purple strains to perform so well?

You asked me earler in this thread, before I left for a while, how long I was in the veggie cycle (assuming you were askiing about the Black Kush). I can only veg them for 2 to 3 weeks because I have a limited amount of height in the flowering room.

If I adopt a new strain of purple will this (height limitation..I have a max of 4 feet 11 inches before they will burn in the light) be a roadblock?

i have grown this strain in a lot of different temps.. one grow was like 85 -90 then 80 - 85 and 75 - 80.. they performed well in all those temps.. but never really purpled up for me

right now my temps are 65 - 75 and i can tell they are gunna be real purple.. also the trichs are stacking up like ive never seen before .. :hippy:

thanks moxie that makes me feel a little better i didnt want the ladies sitting in some old water developing some kind of fungus or mold... but i did turn my fans up and it seemed to help where they get watered every 3 days and the ones in the black pots get watered every other day but since i turned the fans up they tend to be pretty dry when i water

well the final days are zeroing in for the black pots and the big one.. this will be my last post until i harvest... soo heres a bunch of pics to look at.... :pimp:

if you guys dont know i have been growing one in coco comparing it to soil... soo far the coco on has out stretch the soil one and she is in a small pot and she taller.. but i must say the soil one looks like she might weigh out more also shes alot frostier then the coco one ! the coco did get about 2 more days of veg and im guessing in the next couple of days shes gunna put on some frost for me... also when i get the big one out of there im gunna lower the light about 6 inches... :rastasmoke:


the ones in the black pots were put into flower when they rooted so i wasnt expecting much out of them maybe 20 grams a plant... but they are gunna be some BOMB SMOKE i know it... :stoned:

the big one vegged for about 2 months taking tons of clones off of her and she was in a 5 gal bucket !! should get about 3 to 4 oz from her :rastasmoke:

i cut them down 2 days ago and took some pics tonight .. i tend to dry my buds pretty quick so they should be done by thursday so 4 days of drying before i put them in a paper bag for another 4 days then to the jars!

ive only trimmed the big girl completely and letting all the other buds dry with some leafs on them.. i think this isnt purple urkle anymore.. what happened was i got a 1/8th of purple urkle from a local club and it had some seeds in it at first i was pissed but then i decided to smoke it anyways and it was some wonderful bud.. so i grew it.. all females came from it with a couple hermies i had 2 different phenos .. one really purple and fruity smelly one that was pretty good smoke and one lightly purpled skunky one that FUCKED YOU UP!.. well this pheno hermied and gave me about 30 nice seeds.. this is what i have been growing... im not sure exactly what it is if its purple urkle or maybe the grower that grew this had a male of some sort that gave some pollen and i got those seeds either way this is my favorite smoke and strain to grow !!! :rastasmoke:

me too i cant wait to give everyone a smell and taste report when its done curing.... i smoked some last night .. and O MY :thumbsup: ... it was harvested at the perfect time ... one bong rip i was instantly stoned... the taste was awesome a little grapey blueberry crossed with hashey skunky taste.... feels like mostly sativa high with no paranoia feelings ... time flew by to i hit the bong at 12 and by 2 i hadnt moved from my chair ...Real strong body buzz..My hole body from top to bottom was warm and buzzing,.. not much thought provoking, more like focusing without your brain interfering.... i was south park and random shit for 2 hours with out getting tired at 2 in the morning .. I LOVE THIS BUD!!!

i am having a real hard time growing this strain in hydro. basically i am following the gen. hydroponics recommendations ( doing really well for my 2 other strains), but this plant is spindly and measly. Plus it constantly shows what appears to be either nutrient burn or potassium deficiency. It is only growing up, not out. Oh well, just some input.
