I have a question about watering using a hydroponic system. Specifically when you are using the drip system. I was instructed to let the water drip on to the seeds (once planted) at a rate of roughly 2 drips every 5 seconds. Should that continue once they have germinated and transitioned to seedlings/very young plants?
Also, currently using a "all in one" fertilizer (19-8-13). Is there a better plant food? If so, where do you find these products (a local nursery?)
Concerned because of slight yellowish tent is developing on some leaves and want to take care of this before it becomes a major issue.

I would say as long as you keep your grow media moist and not soaking wet you would be ok.

I reckon thats a yes

Or your local hydro store.

Its nature that the bottom leaves turn yellow and die, if the new growth top leaves are turning yellow you may have a problem. How old are they and are they rooted.:hippy:

Thanks so much for responding. The roots are now in the reservior. After reading more threads it sounds like I might be over watering and that is what could be starting to create those yellow spots. Here is another question.
If I want to switch to another type of nutrient (or brand) can I just switch it on my next scheduled feeding and cleaning of my reservior? Or do I need to do something different?
