You will need to fill out the trouble shooting guide to give us a little back ground information so we can give a better answer.. Just looking at the picture it looks to me you have a very bad ph problem. Plus the leaves look to be curling up in a canoe fashion which would indicate a heat problem. What are you using for soil? Nutes? What is the ph of the water you are using? Lights? Ventilation?

several problems here:

Light too close, too many nutes; too soon (IMO), that potting soil?, looks more like mulch..:wtf:...ph for soil should be 6.6-6.9 range.

you're gonna need more than 5 ft of height when using a 400HPS and find some potting soil, that doesn't have so much bark in it and mix in 20% perlite; next time. Drill extra holes in the pots for good drainage.

Looks like nute burn to me. As for the light being too close, in the past I have had my tops within a foot of my 1KW and haven't had any problems, but your issues definitely look nute related to me. I don't grow in soil but I'd recommend a flush ASAP.

Your making the same mistake i always make. Thats not only a burn from nut thats also overwatering.

Best thing to do is give fresh air and leave them alone! give alot of light. If you keep watering to flush the nute burn its only going to spread. From a long history of killing plants myself let time work its magic

so i should stop trying to flush them? what it help to take a clone or two from it?

Your ph is too low for a peat-based soil grow.
How long have they been in those pots of fresh MG? Is this why you are using no nutrients...?
That is the chunkiest MG soil I've ever seen. (too chunky) Are you sure it's MG Organic? I'd either break it down a tad before transplants, or find a more suitable mix. Insects breed under those chunks if given half a chance.
Mulch that chunky doesn't absorb water very well. How often do you have to water? (in days, not inches) How much water are you adding when you do water?

IMO, He should try to give them a tad bit of darkness. hps 24/7...:wtf: Give them a break to recoop some. Some time to rest in the cool darkness would not hurt either. Lol at soil. Good luck:jointsmile:

Flushing will help push out some nutes, I say flush it then wait & let soil dry out nice then give it another good flush. Raising your lights another few inches wont hurt either help it for burning up faster

Ok...i just moved her to a bigger tubberware and she is doing much much better. So i have a questions on lighting during flowering.....

i have a 400W hps and am getting an LED light that is comparable to a 250W hps. I initially thought i would just replace the 400w with the LED, because of heat and usage of electricity. but now i was thinking about going 12/12 and having the LED on for 12 and the HPS on for 6 hours...then 12 dark. would that be bad for her?

if you're gonna flower?...you want 12 hours of light and 12 hours TOTAL darkness...every 24 hours...:)

...not 18/12......OR...are you saying 12 hours LED + HPS for 6 hours at the same time?...followed by 12 hours dark?

Garbage man. Buy a procyon 100 instead they are on ebay currently on sale I think. Many many times brighter than that cheap crap from Sunshine and you can actually get some real results with it.

A few people tested the actual power usage on that "45 watt" panel and it was using far lower wattage wise and not even near the stated power = very low light + it uses the very low power LED's. The procyon 100 is worth every penny and will give you nice coverage on a 2 x 2 area (would supplement it with a decent CFL or 2) Many people have determined it to be very much equal to 250 watts of HID. Good luck. :hippy:
