SPOKANE - Police officers have executed a series of search warrants and arrested several people who are illegally selling marijuana out of a storefront at Maple and Northwest Boulevard in north Spokane.

They outright say it's illegal in this article. Most of the people here don't even know that Washington is a MMJ state.

The way the news reports are, they never will.

I'm a Washington State MMJ approved person but I will not carry or get a MMJ card......

Arent Co-ops/stores/dispensaries illegal in washington...why yes they are....Thats why I tell everyone I know in Washington to be independent..... get your doctors note and grow your own.

Did people have to give their MMJ card info to the store before you could make a purchase?? Normally you do.... If the store kept your info on file guess who now has your personal info...LEO

Dispensaries are still operating in the grey in Washington State.....Like Obama stated its up to the state if they want to bust stores they wont get any federal funding but I guess spokane is made of money.

Dont feel bad for Spokane. ...California had 14 stores shut down yesterday

Why always bring me into the equation???? I have nothing to do with it, and it didn't hapen in King County. Spokane needs to get its act together and leave MMJ patients alone. :thumbsup:

maybe something good will come of all of this. I sure hope so. At the very least we will get definitive legality of dispensaries, I hope the outcome is in our favor I wrote both prosecuting attorneys, and my senator.

There's no doubt as the laws are written right now that dispensaries are illegal in Washington. But hopefully we can push to get dispensaries and coops legal here. I am particularly in favor of getting coops legalized. It takes the greed out of the picture so that truellu needy people can get there medication.

People shouldn't have to ask strangers or shop online to find meds. This really is a shame that people who could use pot for their illness are treated like common criminals.

My father in his last year really did need pot to help with the intense nausea he experienced due to experimental medication they gave him.

Funny thing is if you are dying they will give you all sorts of stuff that is untested, but you cant smoke a joint. Nice world we live in huh?

RCW 69.51A.010
Definitions
The definitions in this section apply throughout this chapter unless the context clearly requires otherwise.

(1) "Designated provider" means a person who:

(a) Is eighteen years of age or older;

(b) Has been designated in writing by a patient to serve as a designated provider under this chapter;

(c) Is prohibited from consuming marijuana obtained for the personal, medical use of the patient for whom the individual is acting as designated provider; and

(d) Is the designated provider to only one patient at any one time.

I feel your statements quoted above would have a hard time, qualifying your collation of individuals as a designated provider.
At least a legal one.

ALSO, there is no STATE MMJ CARD in Washington at this time!!!
