I'm new at this...I have two plants and...

Well I went and bought two clones from the nursury. OG and Purp OG. When I bought them they had a couple dead lookin edges (slightly), is that normal? The owner of the place just took some scissors and cut one of the dead parts and acted like it was no biggie. (which makes me cringe)
I made the two plants a home out of styrafome on the side of my house, and I hung a 120 watt compact flourescent bulb in the center. Planted the babies in Miracle Grow Moisture Control potting soil. And watered with tap water (is that bad?). Its the third night I've had em now. My purp is lookin ok, but my reg OG is droopy. I'm not scheduling my watering, just using my finger to see if they're dry. Y is that one droopy and not the other one? Do you think because of the change in enviornment?
Another thing. Some of the edges of the leaves are still a little discolored. Should a cut them? How do I do that? I just want them to grow... Its my first time and each clone cost $15. Please can someone experienced find it in their heart to pass along some advice?

you have 2 different strains of OG.....the purple kush will be a small short plant.

The OG Kush will stretch out in flower (when you cut your lights to 12/12)

The OG that I grew the leaves were droopy too but after I started cutting the lights they perked up

Dont cut the leaves edges .... your plant will put on new growth.

I would get alittle better light set up mabey a 400 watt MH:thumbsup:

Not sure if this is it, but a common mistake that beginners make is overwatering. This will cause droopy leaves which then start curling down. The plants like to get a little dry between waterings, if it's always wet you will eventually have problems.
And yes, don't forget that you have two different plants, so don't expect them to behave the same, they won't.
