Jerry's Fall Grow 2009

Well it has been close to a year now since I have grown anything. I have finally located a trustworthy partner and we are ready to go. We are going to be doing a much larger crop than what I have done in the past so here is what I have put in the paper towels last night.

5 seeds of C99 x Apollo 11 from Joey Weed
10 seeds of Joeyâ??s mix from Joey Weed
5 seeds of Blue Mystic from a fellow grower

We also have 10 seeds of Tang that come with 20 mystery seeds from Amsterdam marijuana seeds. I have used them in the past and was very impressed with some of the genetics I got from the mystery seeds, so we placed another order from them and they should be in before next week.

Our goal during this grow is to start as many different strains as we can, that is why we are starting with the Joeyâ??s mix and several mystery seeds from the other seed bank. I will be taking clones from all the plants before flowering. Then after this crop finishes we will decide which plants are the best performers. Then the clones from these plants will become mothers.

Next post I will go into detail about the grow space and how I plan to set it up.

Just in closing this post I want to say I have missed coming to canncom. I have visited a few times since my misfortune but I did not visit very often due to I found it depressing watching all these grows and not able to have my own going but that has changed now so I can say â?? Jerryâ??s Backâ?� and for a good while this time. So I look forward to your help and help those in need down the road and that is what this site is about!!!

can't say i ever got to know you JG but i've seen your posts and you are definitely highly respected (no pun inteded). i'm sorry to hear about any misfortunes you've had but i'm glad you back.

can't wait to see what's to come in this log. i'm in.

Today I have 21 new sprouts going under 2 t-12 shop lights using cool white bulbs. I built a small nursery grow box out of white board from HD. Yesterday I started germinating more seeds from amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com. I started 6 Thiaskunk seeds and 10 mystery seeds.

The plan is to get as many different strains going and find what we like and use the clones as mothers in the future.

For my seedlings I am using a mix of one part FF Ocean Forest to one part Coco w/earthworm castings. Currently no nutes are being used.

I will be doing pics in the future but I think we all know what a sprout looks like, so for now I will wait.

glad to see you posting a grow log. I remember you from another forum and definately respect your abilities. I'll be following this one, and look forward to seeing some great looking plants and buds. I changed my name and have hit some problems of my own and had to start over.

Hey Now everyone,

Sorry it has been awhile since I checked in but the fun is about to start. I did not want to bore you all with the seedling and veg stage of this grow. But now everthing is in place to start up my flowering part of this log.

Just to give you some information I am going to flower in a 8'x12' space using 3 - 1000 watt cool tube HPS's on a 6' vortex fan and a variable speed control to cool the lamps using outside air. I am using a 4' vortex fan with a carbon filter to vent any left over heat out of the room.

I currently have 31 plants in this space that are 8 weeks into veg that I have not sexed yet ( 2 others not counted in the 31 already showed male balls and are already gone) so this number will go down once I go to flower later this week. First I am going to cut cloans off each plant then go to 12/12.

I also want to wait a little bit so to get the plants used to their new home and light ( I am currently only using 1 HPS because they all fit under it for now, as time goes and the plants get bigger I will turn the rest of the lights on as needed.

I will be taking picturs later on to show you but cannot at this point.
