Best Soils

Potting soil is best for growing, true or not.Is there anybody with experience useing different soils eg.lawn soil* ,erin compost*,etc which 1 ?

check out Top 10 Marijuana Pot Growing Tips | Tips for Growing Indoor Marijuana, Cannabis, Ganja, Weed and Pot Plants (http://www.weedsthatplease.com/growtips.htm) for some soil tips. i have used something similar to the recipe for soil (subbing manure for the bat sh*t and seaweed) with decent results. i'm also trying a Batmix (premixed soil) available from any grow shop.
I wouldn't worry too much, once the soil has good drainage, you should be fine.

What ratio of light should they get at early stage.What would 24 hrs do for them.(hi eddie thanks )

does dublin/ireland have any stores that sell led ligthing.

i'd give the little babies a minimum of 18hrs, i've also seen recommendations of going 24hrs for the first few weeks. I ladies will be okay as long as they have good light and ventilation.
Maybe some one else could share their experiences of LEDs. I have only seen them available on the interweb.:glugglug:
