Hey guys these plants are around the beginning of week 3 vegetation. They've been doing very well but I've noticed this leaf damage in the last few days. I cannot locate any bugs on or around the plants and I did put sand over the soil to prevent gnats which were a slight problem for a week or so. I have not seen any since the sand covering. Does this appear to be a bug problem anyone is aware of? Could it be heat damage? I've been meaning to move my lights up. They are CFL's roughly an inch or two from the tallest plants. Any recommendations about how to stop this leaf damage? Also do these plants seem healthy? This is my first time and they don't really look like most pics I see. Thank you for your time.

Looks like the aftermath of physical damage... a pinch gone slightly wrong, ro contact with a light, or a brief encounter with something that would harm a developing leaf. But they look healthy. Whatever happened to them, it looks to have been in the past.

It means the seeds were old. Plants show strange leaf structure in early growth when the plants grows from a seed that is old. The plant will grow out of this problem as it gets older.

Hahaha thats funny, old seeds, teehee.

Are you already feeding them 3 tsps of grow and 2 tblsps bloom at this point? At 3 weeks old that is a way overkill! I know the charts I have seen say that, but it's never worked for me. At 3 weeks my girls get their first 1 tsp per gal.

Just my 2 cents. :)
