i use to smoke 24/7 and smoked between a 1/2 to an oz a week, but over the last couple of months i have stoped smokin at work dureing the day and now just smoke a couple of joints in the evenings, and i feel so much better for it, work is so much easier when i'm not stoned, you can have too much of a good thing, cutting down has made me appreciate my high so much more:jointsmile:

Ive been around long enough to know that these are very unusual words out of your mouth Weedmaster, youve always been the one to beg to differ when someone mentions too much of a good thing.
And yes I love getting really stoned once a day, as im winding down for the evening

i'm surprised myself never thought i would say that you can have too much of a good thing, i've changed a few things in my life this year trying to make my family and my life better, maybe it's because i'm getting old LOL:jointsmile:

My deepest fear has been that i'd wake up one day to find myself a rigid man in a suit who'd given up his loose pot smoking ways to focus on "more important" things like mortgages, a career, and a family created out of social obligation instead of love. If you don't mind me asking how old are you Weedmaster? Did you smoke pot the entirety of your life till you reached that age?

A change i as good as a rest, if you smoke all day everyday it becomes a habbit so i think to much of a good thing is bad for you.
i am 58 years young and have smoked since i was seventeen years old but never all day every day and thats the way i like it.
well done Weedmaster:thumbsup::hippy:

i'm 44 now and been smokin pot since i was 15, started smokin 24/7 when i was about 25 because my wife didn't like my heavy drinking and i convinced myself i needed something to blank out the hum drum of everyday life.
about 6 months back i went out of work and money was tight so a couple of friends who grow were giveing me herb for free whenever i ran out, not wanting to take advantage of their good nature i cut down drastically on my smokin and realised it was a good thing for me, so thats why i'm at this stage at the moment, but i still love a joint first thing in the morning on my days off and a good smoke when i go fishing:D

weedmaster. Good for you! I find that when I have "it" around that I seem to smoke or eat much more than I may need to. I can easily go through an oz a week. Yet, when it is not here, I can do OK without it. This past year I thought I had stopped. Not that I felt it was wrong, just that access was hard. And than a friend gave me a clone, which I cloned and traded for another clone, with a total of over -- now in different stages of growth. And you know the rest of the story.

being a poor ex-college kid, i eventually always hit a drought with my funds every few months. a good time for some breaks. there are days when i go without smoking, several sometimes, its good, i feel more peaceful in the mornings, wake n bakes are nice, but sometimes it feels nice to wake up and stay sober. the days when i got burned out at work dont occur when i dont smoke that morning, which is nice, but i much prefer getting that feeling right when i wake up.
and when i dont smoke as much, i usually smoke in the evenings after work, and that is the best feeling to have a much lower tolerance than your smoking buds, and then get really baked as you see them pack bowl after bowl because they cant get high enough.
but you cant smoke too much, but you can smoke a lot for too long, everyone needs breaks, you cant eat hamburgers everyday and remain healthy, there are very few medicines that you take everyday and arent atleast checked by a doctor regularly to see if you need as much as you are getting, so its just the bodies way of regulating itself. you cant create imbalances and expect nothing to happen, its all about balance. someones too much is someone elses not enough, and when that balance is achieved, nirvana can be found.

Yeah i used to smoke hash at least 15x a day for like 3 years. I smoked a few times a day the two years before that. It definately enhanced the quality of life by 100% but after that much constant smoking you realize that it does start to get better when you don't make it a priority. Its only a priority when i'm snowboarding now that is essential. The thing i don't like other than how it gets you tired is how it steals your memory and that is one of the most important things.
