ello. I have some questions about getting approved in Washington state. First of all, i do not have a primary physician, and I'm low-income. The conditions that i want to get approved for are not documented and I have no records.

So the first thing Im going to do is build some documentation. Im still trying to figure out which condition to aim for, considering cannabis helps me with a number of conditions(IBS, social anxiety, low eating appetite for extended periods of time) and also how to build that documentation. Since I don't have a doctor/physician couldn't I go to a emergency clinic/hospital that bills me and build that documentation?

For example, when i wake up in the morning i will smoke a joint or two and have some coffee, without the joints the coffee would hurt my stomach and give me bowel movement problems. But when i smoke i feel completely normal and all of the symptoms go away.

I also have problems eating, I miss dinner and whole meals and don't have a very big appetite, I have gone the last 3 weeks without smoking and I have lost weight.

Also, if I'm in a nervous situation like a job interview, my body will get shaky and I wouldn't be able to focus, as opposed to smoking and feeling confident and stable. Is this social anxiety?

Smoking/digesting solves all of these problems for me, I feel its crucial to my health, not to mention the swine flue virus coming up and how THC is a cure/treatment. I think some of the questions I'm asking are what most resources on the internet lack, specifically for each state. How do i get the ball rolling along with the documentation so I can finally live life the way it should be?

Thanks for any help

I don't think the doctors will settle for a few ER visits, get yourself a Primary. I know that's easy for me to say huh? Insurance is expensive, but there are community insurance plans based on your income, google: BASIC HEALTH WASHINGTON. I think your only hope is to get documentation from a licenced primary care provider.

Ok, thanks. But how long would it take after i get a primary physician? I know some doctors have strict requirements that are not the same as what the law requires...Would documentation from some place liked planned parenting work?

Thanks

I think you're going to have a hard time getting approval with your conditions. You might start by going to some of the public health clinincs that have a sliding scale payment system.

I am not a doctor so take this with a grain of salt as I could be completely wrong - but I think the very minimum is a diagnosis and a few weeks, maybe a month of prescribed pharmaceuticals.

Diagnosis is going to be a big factor for you, anorexia or bulimia would probably do the trick though. I have mentioned this next place in so many of my posts that I feel like a commercial for them or something lol.

If you want some real guidelines from people who know, google: CBR Medical, they are the only medical organization that I know of specifically geared toward getting people authorized for medical marijuana in Washington.

Best of luck.

you dont neeed a card to grow your own.... just a referal from your doctor.

If your to be dependant on someone else to supply you like store then you will want a card.

To bad this wasnt California...you could walk in today off the street and get a script for about $125.... just state your ailment pay your $$ & get your card

Actually the dispensaries where I live could not care less about your card, all they want to see is your doctors signature on the statement. Maybe I save myself $200 bucks next year lol.
