Hi!,

Normally on vbulletin software, there is an icon next to the youtube wrap:

R2Eyao-2KWo

that allows photo posting without hosting.

Is it feasible to add this here??

Nevermind, I was unaware you could enlarge thumbnails.

How can i properly post pictures to be viewed as attached thumbnails. Ive tried to post pictures but they fill the whole screen. I looked on here how to but couldnt find exactly. When you type in posting pictures it doesnt really define your search that much lol. thank you

Good luck, they won't respond to me on this subject. The icon to post pics is missing here.

Hey mods, fix the shit...thanks.

if you hit post quick reply, then click go advanced, then click manage attachments (the paper clip). you can attach up to five pictures at a time.

also, if you take the time to READ the new member pirvs (stickied at the top of this very forum) you will see:

Thou shalt not have a signature until 50 posts and 2 weeks account activation.

2) Thou shalt not post pics until 50 posts and 2 weeks account activation.

3) Thou shalt not give rep until 50 posts and 2 weeks account activation.

4) Thou shall notice when thee is blessed by a + sign along side "registered".

Have a good one!

Thank You Headshake. I have had my account for about 2 years give or take. I did not know about the pictures only attached after 50 posts. Thanks for the info :)

Get a grip and some manners before you post something about the mods next time. I merged these two posts to show everyone how you asked a bad question then said nevermind. If you wanted it answered you should not have said nevermind. Besides, the question really is self-explanatory or maybe a better word is useless because there is a way to load photos without hosting so why add an unnecessary feature.

Anyway, it boggles the mind to see people have some much difficulty with posting pictures.

All you have to do is hit reply and there is a "tool bar" on the top of window that you type the text in. Clip the paperclip and go from there. You don't even have to hit quick reply and then advanced.

You can post pics on your very first post, I set up an account the other day just to try this out and it works. Maybe you do if the moon and stars aren't properly aligned when you start your account but it worked fine for the test account I made and I'm not going to keep trying it until I make a new account that has to wait until 50 posts. There's plenty of new members posting pics of plant problems and pics of their drug test dipstick.

I was in a hurry when posting that and forgot to add the...j/k.(which for anyone unfamiliar with means just kidding).

Sorry about that. The photo system you have here is actually better than the normal icon that Vbulletin has standard. It allows for more clarity and detail, which is important for our projects.

Regards,

Biz

Hi there, I was wondering if your picture upload allowance goes up as your posts go up. Or is 60 this limit for uploading to albums & such. Thanks in advance for your help.

60 refers to what? Are you using the "click the paper clip in the toolbar above the area where you type your post?" I don't see 60.

I know that after about 4-5 photos it has trouble uploading all of them so if I have more than this I post them in multiple posts.

I don't think you get more upload ablity by passing certain milestones.

Thanks for responding! The 60 picture limit I was referring to seemed to be the limit to the # of photos you are allowed to upload to your album, sorry if that wasn't clear.

I wasn't so much referring to attaching photos via the attachment button, but rather using the BB code to reference the whole picture's url. On that note, are we allowed to cross link to other sites where our pictures are hosted? For one thing - it would be a weight off your servers. It's just a matter of keeping things aesthetically consistent. Thanks for your attention to this.

ETA: Looks like after a search, folks around here do crosslink to other sites which host their pics. Thanks all the same! Hope someone find this info useful.
