im going to flower some plants with a 400w hps and a 2700k 200w envirolight. i also have a 6400k 200w envirolight for vegging..is there any point in using this as well for flowering or is it a waste of electricity and needless.any advice would be welcome guys

you can use the 6400K light just fine. most CFL growers will use a mix of 75/25 (2700K, 6500K) and the opposite for veg. it's not required though.

the more light the better!

Those lights would be great to getting to the "hard to reach" spots on the lower sites that may not get penetrated from the HPS. Just like shake said a mix of the spectrum is wonderful for them. They need it IMO. Grew some skunks with all 6500K and only a few 2700K. Buds weren't huge, but the trichs were marvelous and in abundance! :) Experiment until you find what you like!
