Hello everyone,

I was recently thinking about how sick I am of the U.S. drug policy, specifically its cannabis policies. It seems that medical marijuana is becoming decriminalized and even legalized in some states at a growing rate, and marijuana legalization is slowly working its way into public awareness. However, the change is to slow, and it seems like recreational marijuana will never be legal in the U.S., at least in my lifetime.

I was wondering if anyone else had thought about pursuing some "fringe" activism experiments that would help push the issue into greater public awareness. Examples would be posting "Marijuana Victim" posters in public restroom stalls, on windows and doors of places such as Walmart, malls, supermarkets, etc. Also maybe planting or transplanting marijuana into public parks, police station and other government land. Maybe even the fake kind, just to get attention. If done on a large scale this would certainly create some attention.

What is your opinion, do you think this would help the cause of bringing the issue into the public eyes? Do you think maybe this would have the opposite, negative effect on the legalization of marijuana?
